The “who cares?” comment Is quite unpalatable and my sympathy to those who have lost everything, some even their lives. Having gone through this thread the most shocking thing is nobody has blamed climate change (yet) for this. As tragic as this, and other “natural” disasters, is; it’s gone on for time memorium and old Mother Earth is continually reinventing herself Huge respect to the emergency responders and volunteers etc fighting these horrendous fires |

Sounds good. Is he versatile as an egg? I know zero about this fella so thanks for that first hand view. He sounds like a pint of Northern bitter and going by your scouting he could be one to track but is he pacey??? Let him know about Earls Court, hopefully we can tie him down sport |

Madsen was an obvious dud from pretty early on this season I was hoping they could move him on this window to some Euro league where hide n seek is acceptable; the Turkish leagues probably wouldn’t stand him which is a shame. It’s better to focus on the lads in the squad doing the business but it saddens me to think of the money going out the door for Madsen, Anderson, Celar and that absolute c-unit Taylor Richards. Take that dosh and sign Dunne and Kolli longer term and have bundles left to sign a LWB and one other player with pace |

I have to say I wasn’t impressed but in no way passing judgement as a difficult game at a difficult stage to come on is n not your natural position He certainly looks confident Hopefully has clearance to play this Saturday and will be used from the start |
| Forum Reply | Kieran Morgan - Looks So Comfortable. at 23:55 6 Jan 2025
Excellent tonight on the Sky Overlords show and he’s getting attention I thought he was a definite MoM contender and Sky gave it to him. However, the checked other players stats and he was some way down the list with Chair and Paal quite ahead of him. With Morgan it’s his industry combined with the fact that loads of his touches and passes are “progressive” Fair play to the lad I’d wager the person who identified him as a signing is NOT the same person to have identified Madsen as a target. How must he feel? Has he got the cohones to force his way back in and cement a place? Doubt it. I do think it’s time to be careful with Kieran now. Maybe Jack Cardback will do some minutes instead for a few weeks until he’s suspended again thereby keeping Morgan grounded and his engine rested for the full back nine of the season. Great to see Levy drop a ballcock and a young lad ripping it up for us |

Ah shite…. Only just seen this as I scanned the board Really sorry to hear this as six is no age for any dog no matter what breed. People who’ve never had the joy of four paws in the family really will never get it and this really is devastating. Stay as positive as you can be and just remember the best day of a well cared for and loved dog is the day they just had; they truly live and love life in the moment In respect of alternative therapies I’ve had limited exposure but heard good things about CBD from wife’s aunt who swore she extended the life of two of her dogs and also her own life. My direct experience has been via relief of arthritis via supplements etc and had amazing results with those but not huge use to you. Do explore tumeric as a natural pain relief but it can make some dogs stink a bit but not all. Very best of luck to you and your family Final reminder….. whatever you do your dog will be eternally grateful to you. |

Still think Chair is a way off being the player we know he can be but even at that level he’s been good. I have no idea how Frey and Dunne haven’t scored from his earlier crosses My big concern is what happens from around minute 70 when Frey comes off. Much as I love Kolli I can’t see him doing the job big Frey is excelling at. Cmon Rs…. Go for it into the Loft and rack up a few goals early second half |

That’s on the ref. We should’ve had a handball deep in their half. Then he has a word with our players at the corner Shit marking though for that corner |

35 years is the minimum but I don’t think you can claim state version till 67 (currently!!!!) I’ve often wondered why you can’t do your 35 years and stop meaning more disposable income ahead of pension which helps the economy I don’t have a grasp on pensions at all, minefield!!! |

Just so I’m clear…… Next time there’s a corner and a defender heads a player rather than the ball in a challenge then it’s a penalty right? Drop me off just in the left please mate….. |

Shirley…. There’s too many best and far, far, far too many worst? One of the best - Anfield away 1991….. a 1-3 win and probably one of the best away days ever I ran one of my mini buses and I could be here all night recounting stories of that day from the 8am meet up through to arriving back in London at 10pm and a mates sisters party. Christ we were some team then and my all time legend with his one touch goal One of the worst might be Leyton Orient away where I nearly punched Karl Connolly Honourable mention for Preston 5 QPR 0 where we had rucks in away end, basically the end of Gerry and I broke down on M1 in the freezing fog on way home (dodgy petrol gauge and one of our travelling party needed to be back for a wedding bash) Ahhhh the memories |

If you foul someone with a headbutt that’s a red card and a possible long ban no? If you go to head the ball away and another player does the same it’s an old fashioned clash of heads, knock for knock Watched the game (it was shite) and felt it was a joke decision at the time. Taylor has always been a bizarre little man in my opinion and I wasn’t happy as that decision helps Chelscum in their new challenge of being top four. “Games gone Andy, games gone” |

Turn it in mentioning the Play Offs mate!!! My yardstick is to always have 10 to 12 points as a buffer zone to be “almost relaxed” at this level. The three game weeks mean the change is rapid. A win on Monday would be massive and wins against five of those below us next couple of months would be stuff of dreams. Always wary of things like Dull City scoring 3 against Leeds and the fact that Rotherham stayed up one year from a position of being nothing but a carcass and Birmingham and others have dropped from being comfortably 12th in January |

As we approach HT in today’s fixtures I am amazed that Oxford currently sit above us in the table. This is why another thread on here about teams who will be in the scrap brought me out in hives. We are a million miles (or 8 wins) from being safe or being able to pass judgement on other teams. Not a particularly brilliant set of other results for us at moment |

Just done the first series of Bosch : Legacy I put off watching it after previously binge watching the excellent Bosch; reason being I thought his daughter, Maddie, was going to be the lead role in these spin off series. Thought she was the weakest part of the original shows, thankfully she’s not the lead but is more prominent. Very enjoyable and Harry Bosch is a cool old dude |
