You can tell from this thread that the Fans Parliament won't achieve or please anyone other than Karl Oyston who will see it one in the eye for BST and his half hearted attempt to get fans back on board. |
| Forum Reply | Chris Hull at 17:57 31 May 2015
Just to add my sympathies - Chris was a fantastic guy, never took life too seriously (ironic with his occupation), always had a great tale to tell and you could tell just loved his town, family and club. Really sad news. |
| Forum Reply | PNE v Swindon Thread at 18:11 24 May 2015
Think lucky for PNE they have the world's most lenient ref - should have had two yellows so far - PNE have played this spot on - two well worked set pieces and now Swindon have nothing up top and look soft at the back. |

Has to be Saer Sene - looked like a footballer, had the physicality of a footballer, came on as a sub with the intentions of being a footballer ... turned out he was just a gangly streak of crap! |

Love the way that everyone is now going mad because you get 10% off Club Shop prices for being a ST Holder. Seems to me that KO could offer his 'nads on a plate, free entry for all and as much beer as you can drink and some would still say it's a disgrace!! |
| Forum Thread | What do you all make of this Afroman? at 12:38 20 May 2015
Whilst looking at other forums, I often wonder who this bloke is! He seems to be a criminal lawyer one moment and the town jester the next. His current incumbency seems to be as the clubs resident anti-Dj judging by the comments below. Good luck if you're heading to watch Neil Diamond - glad I chose to go to his gig in Manchester! If any of you think I was refrained on the micro phone at previous Roadshows prepare for Afroman un leashed and un censored at the Niel Diamond concert. |

Anyone know where Chesterfield's new ground is compared to the old one? |
| Forum Reply | When are we expecting a manager appointment? at 10:23 16 May 2015
Be fascinated to know just who has been in touch and how these interviews will go. If it's KO saying here's how we do it, here's your budget and get on with it then we're in trouble but if he really wants someone and they make their demands up front then it at least gives us half a chance. I think it'll be a very uninspiring announcement when it's made. |
| Forum Thread | o/t Chosen charities at 14:18 15 May 2015
Other than obviously giving to the charity that never gives back, have decided with the small pay increase that I've got that I'd quite like to set up a DD to a charity. Any good ones from your experience? Don't want one which then sends endless e-mails and phone calls to ask for more (which has happened!). |

Hull look in a similar position to where we were - out of the bottom 3 all season and then sucked in and Man United on the last day. Lose to Spurs tomorrow and it might even be over for them tomorrow night. |
| Forum Reply | All footballed out at 17:09 14 May 2015
Strangely I feel the opposite - feel like we've been deprived football for 12 months and wouldn't mind watching a team who I want to win have a chance of doing just that. Least there's no getting excited about England this year only to be let down. |

Saw him on the last day and he thought he'd done enough to earn a new contract .. soon find out who your friends are in football! |

More detail .. At its meeting in London today, the Board of Directors of The Football League considered matters relating to the abandoned Sky Bet Championship match between Blackpool and Huddersfield Town on May 2. The Board took the view that the 0-0 scoreline that stood at the time of the game's abandonment (in the 48th minute) should be officially recorded as the final result of the match, as it believes that league points should always be earned on the field of play. In addition, the Board agreed to charge Blackpool with failing to fulfil a fixture and the matter will be heard by a Football Disciplinary Commission in due course. In making its judgment the FDC will be asked to consider any matters relating to compensation to Huddersfield Town and ticket refunds to supporters. The Board also asked its executive to review the League's regulations regarding abandonments to ensure that any such matches can always be played to a conclusion or replayed altogether if deemed necessary. |
