I saw a poll on that X thingy from some EFL account yesterday where people were asked to predict their bottom 3. I scrolled through loads of it and not a single mention of us - apart from a bloke who said “Not my QPR anymore”. Even fans who hate us don’t think of us as relegation material anymore.
Speaking of strippers (we were, weren’t we?) who remembers The Woolpack in Hayes? What lunch breaks they were!
I think my best memory was taking some American work colleagues there one time. “So, it’s just going to be a Briddish version of our Tiddy Bars, right”? “Weeeeelllllll … sort of …”.
Er, let’s say they were shocked, but it was the first place every subsequent visitor wanted to go to.
I finished The Spy (Netflix) last night. True story of an Israeli spy who managed to get into the top echelons of the Syrian Govt in the early-60’s. It’s really good - one of those “oh one more episode, then i’ll go to bed” jobs.
Sacha Baron Cohen plays the lead and he’s very good - there’s me thinking he hadn’t bettered his King Julian role yet.
I’m sure it’s been recommended on here before but too many pages on here now to see who it was to be able to thank them - but you know who you are, so thank you!
… so much it’s playing with your memory? He played for Spurs that day! The fcker should have been sent off, though. Still remember him hauling sinton to the floor and Sinton got booked!
(frantically checks if Singh ever sent Gray off when he was playing for us)
Man that 2nd half was PROPER RANGERS. On the train home after a couple of happy pints. Thing about Knob End - they know how to galvanise a home crowd. MOM Morgan. Ran his socks off with no little skill, either. Get in there!
