I'll start off with a song I heard very recently for the first time in ages and it reminded me of what a great song, anthem and pissed karaoke song it was/is.
Fave Band of the early 80's was undoubtedly The Beat. I had every single one of their vinyl records including a rare 12" white label of Save it For Later. Also had many of their badges and was a member of their fan club!
How about some new wave of British singalong boogie metal? Proof that simple can be very effective. Warning: catchy!
