Harry has some work to do - but the games we have won have been against good solid teams.
We found a way to win and thats all you need to do in the division.
If we had started the same in the prem without playing a top ten team then I would be concerned, but certainly still wouldnt say we have serious issues.

We had a bad day, made hard work of it but we will get better. I know we are not firing on all cylinders but crap teams don't win 5/6, 4 on the spin keeping 4 clean sheets [Post edited 14 Sep 2013 17:15]

If you dont concede you dont lose 50% job done then, best sides always build from the back solid foundations really.
1-0 all season will do as well as 5-0 - not as satisfying perhaps mostly goal diff does have a bearing sometimes but fundementally 1-0 or 5-0 makes little difference. | | | |

Besides we still have people gelling in huge turnaround of players come November we should have a firmer grasp of people and their familiarity.
I can see some of the points and nobody is saying we're perfect but that is kind of the point really, winning without being great shakes. Also remember this is the Championship, different league to PL where youd get less mistakes etc. | | | |

I'd agree "not tearing teams apart and arent as fluent as maybe we could be", but we are talking about relegation favourites as oppostion here.
We have been lucky and scored the points by single goals when the opposition (Leeds excepted) may have felt robbed. And Jeez, haven't I yearned for a bit of luck to go our way?

There's no reason not to believe the performance level will improve. The new signings need games to get match fit, but should make a difference once they are. Really pleased with the defence. Rode our luck at times but Ned and Dunne were excellent again. |  | | |
