Comfortable until the sending off looked solid. Only one person to blame....Mbia.

Not where I was sitting Ted. SWP had a decent first half and worked hard without much end product but he was very poor in the second half until he went off.

Mate, I made the point on some other thread last night about SWP and his work rate, you can't fault It I can't argue with that.
But his end result going forward Is absolutely nothing and that's what hurts.
I'm not in the habit of berating our own players but SWP has been a massive failure for QPR.

I was in the Lower Tier.

I dunno, what do I know? It's shit at the moment

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

swp has been crap since he arrived at the club, but what sickened me most about yesterday was our complete lack of attacking intent, the match stats dont lie.The best we were going to get was 0 0 and speaking with mates at ht we could see what was coming.

PLayed well in that Newcastle game last season when him and Taarabt looked like they could do some real damage together. What happened???

I was lower tier too. I didn't think that SWP cost us the game - that surely goes to M'Bia and the ref? In the first half they were pushing us back and were finding space on our right which was probably to protect their defensive weakness on that side but it meant that SWP had to work hard and he did. Bosingwa was also poor going forwards in the first half - nobody seemed to be able to put it into the box. Zamora wasn't great either. I just wouldn't dig out SWP on this occasion - not in the first half anyway. Second half we seemed to get pushed back insofar as I could judge the depth from that low down, and SWP didn't seem to be able to get the ball to anyone.

I don't like digging out our players either. We weren't poor overall though. We could have got the draw which would have been a decent result. I feel sorry for the players and for myself as well of course. Don't like that ground much either - my first visit there. No wonder Coldplay like it.

have to say that I wasn't at the game but watched a good quality stream. i'm not one for slagging off players for the sake of it but SWP was poor again. He works hard, tracks back, puts a shift in.

But FFS, he's been capped 40 plus times for England as an attacking winger. I've put more decent crosses in than he has in the past year and I'm a centre back! The only reason he looks remotely better is due to his effort and the fact that 90% of the time he gets the ball he just passes it back to the FB so doesn't lose possession.

in saying all that he did actually put 2 good crosses in during the first half but other than that he looks completely shot as a footballer. with his pace and low centre of gravity he should charging at and beating full backs like Santos or at least drawing fouls. once he'd bounced it off the defender when in a great position he just seemed to bottle it and that was on about 25 minutes, I can't make any sense of what must be going on in his head.

& M'Bia is a dopey fukk. I thought he was trying to play on and hadn't realised he'd won the free kick; video suggests otherwise.
