newcastle ticket fiasco 20:30 - Jan 19 with 1595 views | skorpio1 | i was one of the 30 or so fan whose tickets were not available for collection at Newcastle, so I emailed our box office to complaint. Surprisingly they phoned me to apologise, and gave me a freebie as compo, which turned up today. blimey, things have changed at our club. I also emailed to newcastle about the lack of concern/action from their ticket office, and unsurprisingly, not heard a thing back. I did big up steward "Tango15" who was the only one who showed any thought for us and got us into the game

I must admit there might not have been a ticket but still got in before kickoff without too much difficulty. It isn't like we missed the game. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

newcastle ticket fiasco on 00:34 - Jan 20 with 1367 views | PlumsteadQPR | I was one of the QPR fans who linked up with the 30 or so Ajax lads who were over for the game (with the intention of supporting QPR it should be added). They all had tickets in the home end when one of our supporters (I think he posts on here but as I'm not 100% I won't mention him by name) arranged via police for them To come in the away end with us. They were all great lads who were clearly off their heads (following a 15 ferry trip from Holland and a night on the Toon) but it just showed how differently the old bill can behave towards you if they want. Despite having tickets we were put through a side gate with the Dutch boys and nobody even looked at our tickets. Once inside the Ajax boys were informed they had their own section where they could effectively do what they wanted ... Most chose to stand with us at the back but some who didn't got away with breaking rules which would've seen most of us thrown our or arrested. Y simply pretending not to speak English... There was no malicious or violent behaviour, they were great lads with whom I got on very well with and TBF most of them sang more QPR songs than most of our fans did but... I can guarantee that if most of us behaved the way they did we'd have been slung out... As the 4-Skins sang: One law for them? Another law for us?

plumstead, i spoke with the ajax lads and asked if they wanted me to ask police, if they could come with us....they were very happy for that and as said, police and stewards were pretty good and quick to decide...they probably couldn't risk them in a home end, they were "celebratory" lol...
