I think everyone needs to remember we had one junior striker available today. It really is the one huge thing to address at the end of the season. Strikers that can keep fit for more than 4 matches and a few with experience. |  |

Our two defensive midfielders out, Captain Cook in dire form and 4th choice centre forward who would be getting it ripped out of him in a Sunday league B team for that performance.
Bottom line is that in this current squad we cannot carry injuries to key players especially when playing top 6 teams |  | | |

But yes Marti got it wrong again today also.
Resting Frey and Varane made no sense. Put them on later, If they need some rest, put them on in 75 minutes, Lloyd was ineffective and Varane could have come on instead of Colback
Not buying the line, minor injury. They were not selected.

If Marti had every single squad member fit and available and performances were identical then I could start to agree with you T_Block

That is so true. When you think that Madsen is also a number 10 (allegedly). Just complicates things having to keep them all involved. Marti etc. are going to have a busy summer realigning the squad. | | | |
