Just thinking that with Ronnie and Yang both starting in place of actual QPR players, could there maybe be some financial implication to this?

I remember that some Premier League clubs want the full % of wages paid if their player doesn't feature, maybe this is the case where the deal had to be done in this way to get the players in?

Sometimes it's seen as the PL club as us doing them a favour. They could still be paying all of their money. We could have paid to have them.

My uneducated guess is that we're paying quite a decent chunk for Edwards as we were desperate at the time and needed to get the loan ahead of other clubs. For Yang I think we're getting him for free as it seems to be a favour deal.

I reckon we might only pay a large chunk of those wages if we could get an agreed purchase price, but then I guess when the deal was done we were a bit desperate...

I remember a few years back someone in the crowd telling me we could have got Kyle Walker for £2.5m when that loan was sorted.
--This felt like nonsense at the time though ;p
