Yang next season ?? 08:36 - Mar 2 with 4183 views | numptydumpty | Is Yang here next season ?? Can only assume he is, as the loan makes no sense otherwise ... Definitely a player there as a very young man, but we have depth in the three behind. Won't be good enough for Spurs next season but they paid a reasonable amount for him, so for me, I am assuming it's an 18 month loan and not just the last half of this season. What do others think ???

Yang next season ?? on 09:03 - Mar 2 with 4087 views | eastside_r | With his part is SU’s first goal, he’ll fit right in at Spurs how they currently play.
Yang next season ?? on 09:45 - Mar 2 with 3935 views | Watford_Ranger | Get him in the gym all summer on a diet of steak and eggs and he’ll be fine. Can’t really see why he’s in from the start with the options available especially if playing two of the fancy tens instead of three. Perhaps some sort of arrangement with Spurs to give him so many minutes even if informally.

Yang next season ?? on 10:17 - Mar 2 with 3799 views | CateLeBonR | I thought we looked far too weak with him and Morgan in the forward 3 especially early second half. First half he was decent enough, getting involved a lot but lacked the finish.
Yang next season ?? on 10:56 - Mar 2 with 3653 views | derbyhoop | He's still got a lot to learn, especially the defensive side. I can't see any logic in playing him over Smyth, Saito nor Dembele unless he's coming back next season.

Yang next season ?? on 11:01 - Mar 2 with 3628 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | At fault for the first goal, and let's players drift past him. Did exactly the same against Derby, but got away with it. He is poor defensively, so very Spursy. Unless he is here next season, I don't know why we are allowing other teams players make mistakes at our expense.

Yang next season ?? on 15:44 - Mar 2 with 3158 views | WestonsuperR | Smith needs to start over Yang, odd that we are developing another teams player ahead of potentially Dembele, Smyth or Saito.
Yang next season ?? on 16:57 - Mar 2 with 3030 views | dmm | I don't think he's any better than Smyth, Dembele, Chair, Saito or even Kolli, and I'd far rather we played them. I hope there's another reason for having him, such as building a good relationship with the Spurs and taking one or two others on loan next season in positions we really do need to strengthen.
Yang next season ?? on 22:20 - Mar 2 with 2769 views | gazza1 | He is OK(ish), I would not have started him in the first 11 yesterday......he was part of the fault for the first goal that we conceded and pretty average throughout the match.
Yang next season ?? on 23:32 - Mar 2 with 2660 views | daveB | the deal makes sense as we had no back up for Smyth and he's providing that, made a mistake for the 1st goal but overall thought he did alright. He's also making us a fair chunk of revenue durimg his spell

I think Yang has done well going forward. He was at fault with others for the 1st goal but came close to scoring 4 times, and drew the save of the game from their Keeper low down to his left with his left footed shot through players. He's not as good as Smyth defensively but having both Yang and Smyth give us 2 good, quick and fresh options down that right side when the one who starts begins to tire.

I thought he looked pretty good at the weekend. What I like is that in and around the box, he will get a good connection on a shot. Smyth tends to sky the ball whereas Yang has the composure to strike it cleanly. I think he is a step up in quality but obviously needs to get a bit stronger. Another year loan with us would be good I think but I do agree that if he isn't going to stay, then not much point in him playing now we have our own players back. Same goes for Edwards.

Yes Saito is a little gem. I hope that deal is already done. The Yang Loan is strange but maybe it was done for marketing purposes which is wrong if the case. I can't see why we signed him if its just for six months as doesn't make sense. Think if it's an eighteen month loan that's all good and could be another good acquisition. If it was just for this half of the season I don't think from a playing perspective it was necessary at all. Hence why I think he is here for 18 months I am certain the Saito deal is already done and dusted.
