QPR WANT NORWEGIAN FUTURE STAR
According to news outlets in Norway, QPR are interested in signing Tromso striker Lasse Nordas. Lasse is only 22 yet has heavily impressed during his career in Norway so far. He has featured for the Norway U21s on several occasions netting 3.
This season, he has 13 goal contributions within 28 games in the Eliteserien. He also netted 2 goals within the UECL qualifiers.
Valued at £1.5million, QPR are not the only club interested.

What's that Lasse? Someone's fallen down a well and you haven't scored a goal in 4 games?

Never knowingly right.

Nice string here.

Doak is probably the league MVP, and worthy of discussion as a potential heir for Salah..who Lpool are clearly not going to extend themselves to re-sign.

As for Paal; I think the defense has been vastly reorganized. Tom Fellows exhausted Paal on Day 1, but there were MANY holes that day. Now Paal and Dunne are more than supported by Smythe and Chair with disciplined support from Morgan and Varane.

We fail in late game situations where the subs do not have the defensive accumen of the starters. Which points to why there is interest in X. Simons.

Makes sense to me too. Though I really like to see Larkeche get some starts at LB next season... or even this season if poss.

Larkeche is now fit and returned to Dundee, I was sorry we let him return, I still think he can do a job here.

I wonder if he might be potentially plan A if Paal moves on? Whenever he came on before he looked like he had good attributes, physicality and decent pace, but just looked inexperienced in terms of positioning and knowledge. But as he's getting precious playing time and good reviews up there he may be a replacement?

Seems like those rumours about Yang Min-hyeok coming to us from Spurs on loan could be true. http://x.com/alasdairgold/status/1884493921310364085?s=48&t=8dDk3aA1kIVS5uLUkqwn

There is a five year gap between that post and the last one!

As a Spurs journo, it’s a weird post to make on your comeback!

It is happening according to WLS.

I just don't understand loans like this. Appears very unlikely we will go up or go down, so what is the long-term point?

> if he is amazing (which he won't be), it won't be enough to get us promoted and we will never sign him so just blocking Dembele when back or Chair or Saito if he is actually ours

> if he is average, just learning on our time like Ashby

I just never really understand it. Yes, if we were in bottom 3 or top 6, but if not, what is the point? Obvs when he nutmegs 4 Wall players to get his hattrick on Saturday I will probably get it :-)

Agree in principle, Gary.

We do need extra bodies, though. Would be better to buy players than loan them, but maybe we blew all the budget/FFP room last summer and can only bring in loans?

Do we need bodies that are wingers, though (if that is what he is)?

Chair / Smyth with Saito, Dembele soon to be back and of course Alfie can play there.

Sometimes I just feel like loans like this are something you need to do because it is Spurs, and if we behave nicely one day they might let us have a superstar young striker for a season?

I really hope the belief in Larkeche is right, and he can compete for a start next season...but I'd say he needed a long winter in Scotland to forget his traumas of the 4-0 defeat to Blackburn last year

Yeah, I'm not sure I get it either to be honest and at 5 foot 8 and a slim build it's going to be another one joining Smyth chair dembele and Saito in the land of the giants too. Hopefully he's pacy though and can chip in with some goals. My kingdom for a LB

Another Aussie....

QPR agree Pearman pre-contract
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:

QPR have agreed a pre-contract with Perth Glory attacking midfielder Jaylan Pearman.

The 18-year-old has made five appearances in the A League, with one goal and one assist so far this season.

He has featured for Australia U17 and is now being called up at U20 level.

Pearman is set to join QPR in the summer when his current contract expires.

Poll: Preferred rumoured CB

I think he came back reasonably well after that and he was played on the wrong side in that game.

However,, on what we have seen from him so far, I'm not sure he is physical enough to play as a starter in a back four. Opponents will move a big forward over to his side and target him. I think he is more suited as an attacking sub or wing back.

I hope he can avoid another injury and comes back stronger ready to challenge for a place next season.

We are going to be the Cat 1 Prem academies to us for Perth Glory at this rate. That'll be two teenage prospects nicked if he comes in.

Would selfishly love to see some young talented defenders coming in - though supposed we did sign Rocca Friel and are after that Aberdeen CB.

Vitoria have had a remarkable season so far with a 2nd place finish in the initial Conference League table.
Hopefully they have made some money from their European exploits this year and will pay a fee for Hevertton at the end of the proposed loan.
Good luck to the lad.

One site suggested a fee of up to 2m€. If anywhere near accurate, Not bad for somebody we got for free and hasn't settled in W London.

Let's not act like his performance against Doak is the only reason we're cutting our losses with him - that Cambridge debut was probably the most out of depth I've ever seen a player at this level.

A shame though, along with Madsen that's 2 key positions we signed people for that have proven themselves completely incompetent and we need to find alternatives for 6 months later...

Varanne’s debut was jaw droppingly atrocious but he was given the time to adjust…Hevertton less so.

Would you say Paal is physically big enough?
II don’t know enough about him to comment either way.
TBF Parker and Wilson weren’t exactly men mountain either were they and that was back when the game was far more physical.

He’s highly rated

Those payments could be small fry if he frills his potential with us IF he signs
