I managed to get a pair of tickets for England’s opening game against France in Zurich for July,and the flights aren’t too bad either.The big expense though is accommodation in the city for my daughter and me.
I’ve had a quick look at alternatives,but the game won’t finish until 11pm so the choices are limited.
Is it always this expensive in Switzerland,or are they just bumping up the prices even more?And does anybody know of any cheaper,more affordable options for a night out? |  | | |  |

It will be Swiss Francs (CHF). They aren't in Eurozone.
My advice is get a currency card (Revolut or Wise). Can be used on ATMs. Do a transfer GBP - CHF before you arrive. |  |

You should visit the FIFA museum if you can while you are there .
We have driven there a few times when the boys were moving in and out . Its not bad on Eurotunnel and toll roads [Post edited 17 Dec 14:57]
