Jason Levien has left us in a stronger position than when he took over? on 20:12 - Nov 26 by ReslovenSwan1
If that was the case there were legal measures that could have taken there and then which lawyers can explain. Sadly for them they did not even know the views of the members at that time.
K&L appear to have the Trust locked in on the recent change of ownership.
But the trust members voted for legal action and we all know your reaction to that...you spent ages telling them they were stupid and they should stop.
You're chasing your tail now, give it up. It's as if you want to make a fool of yourself!

I was right and the new board came to the same conclusion. Venezuelans have allegedly voted democratically for Maduro but that does not meen it was the best option for Venezuela.

Levien had very kind words for the club and city. He was not a very successful owner I'm terms of maintaining PL status. It is not easy actually.
Welsh investment directly into the club £1m US investment £50m plus. The idea that Swansea could stay in the PL with the turnover of manager is for the fairies .
The club lost momentum and it is very difficult to get it back.
Football fans had their own ownership group and even according to them it is pretty useless. It is useless because it needs strong independent leadership which did NOT listen the fans. The fans are not competent enough to be in boardroom.
They won the £22m lottery and did not even try to find the ticket.
The largest turnover of managers really began when they took over. Who will ever forget the yank manager Bradley ? Ranks about as bad a mistake as the guy from Cradley Heath. How or why anyone can defend their incompetence beggars belief

Didn't they forced Cooper to ditch Gyokeres after only three months with us by bring in on the same day as Gyokeres left the two Americans who weren't up to it or fit enough?

You were right, which time, when you are against legal action or saying you're for legal action?
No one ever said a democratic vote had to have the best result, that's not what democracy is, you get what you vote for whether it's good or bad. When the board backpeddled on their members choice they were wrong and you are wrong. And boring, you're very boring.

Cooper never played Gyorkeres and Brighton recalled him. If Cooper had a 18 month plan for Vic it would have been great for Swansea. It is just the way it works
Managers want their picks over club picks. Cooper judgement was very poor in this case. Gyorkeres being different gravy to Davis.
Cooper wanted Keinan Davis on loan but he was too expensive it seems. I suspect Arriola and Morris were low cost. experienced internationals.
I could have worked. Fans were sniffy about two talented players. Arriola got caught up in some trivial teenage error of judgement. He might have been stitched up. Fa s had it in for K&L who's staff had given Gyorkeres on a plate.. For fans they could do right and managers like Martin fed of this weakness. Martin himself snubbed Whitaker.
Mari demanded K&L a talented striker. Whitaker was a top scorer and league 1 worth big money so they recalled him from Plymouth.

I love the word boring. This means you know I was right.
I am disliked for being correct generally polite and consistent. Boring is subjective and used when nothing else sticks.

No, it doesn't mean you are right. It means you keep posting the same inane drivel time after time after time after time after time after time after time....ad nauseam.
A mod even asked you to stop going on about it but you can't help yourself and it's boring. Everything else that has been said to you about being wrong has stuck, well with everybody but yourself.
It was time to change the record months ago.

I like to think of myself as polite on here generally. Never been accused of being boring. The two don't by necessity go hand in hand. The trust thing has been done to death by you I would politely request that you give it a rest as it adds nothing to the quality and enjoyment of this site You do in fairness raise some good and interesting points on other subjects, but then sadly invariably return to your favourite topics - decrying the trust and defending the recently departed owners

As a fan said before the game - Levien promised so much on day 1. His promises were all captured on Youtube. Did he deliver those promises? Being better off the field etc? A reminder of what was promised:

November 2024 has been a great, cleansing moon for SO many reasons. The big ass cherry on top was when these fvckheads officially got out of the club.

Experienced internationals and teenage pranks really, Gyokeres got picked but not starting as Lowe and Ayew were scoring goals earlier in the season, the loss of Gibbs-White early in his time here meant an attacking midfielder of quality was need to get us up the park very early in his time here hence the Amercans but one got injured the other not good enough at Championship level? The best that could be found was Hourihane who it turned out his legs had gone after a wonder goal start that raised false promise. So we went from a team that that was top of the division to one that slipped out of the play off places until the very last game if memory serves me right.
There is no doubt that K& L brought extra money into the club initially but had little idea of how to run it properly who actually controlled those purse strings, Huw Jenkins who didn't get it right when selling Dan James the first time or did he? Who authorised the appoint of the managers the likes of Bradley, Clements, Potter, Cooper, Martin and Duff all very inexperienced managers at the level they were asked to manage, why presumably because they were cheaper than others. Some you could say performed well with who they had on the pitch but somehow our influential signing seem to have injury issues presumably bought or loaned to us on the cheap or as a testing bed for recovery patients. After the intial spend, money has been tight being the unsuccessful custodians of the club in the Premier League their choices be it managers or players have been inexperienced or unwise, K & L managed to sell a dream to their investors both in the Premier League and even managed to find more investors selling the dream of a return to the top league, it hasn't happened yet. The academy downgraded, the crowds dropping, the sales on the concourses almost none existent given the drop in catering standards while the price get hiked.
You also explained why the Trust didn't pursue the litigation as it would of had a detrimental effect of both the trust and club both financially and clubs long term future, so the trust swallowed it pride and took a hit, it will take a time to get some credibility back but for the club it did the right thing after it's bad treatment, the Trust is not there as a money making organisation is was there for the benefit of the club.
And yet you carry on the name calling whole swaves of Swansea fans presumably if you include enough names of areas of the city of Swansea and the country of Wales or even nationalities you can goad some of your intended targets without doing it directly as is prohibited but the rules of the site.but it is equally as nauseating. We have seen it before a fan?
The owners or the investors take a financial hit while the new regime is put into place, a failed investment it happens in business trying to recoup funding but hopefully with the new owners or investors it will be for the future and good of the club but who knows?

Who says? You say this but where is it written down? It is a grand Welsh cop out. This is the point I am making. The limits are set not by the Model rules but the little man mentality.
Slag off the Yankees for not spending money and put the Welsh wallet in the attic.
With that mentality why did they pay lawyers £400,000 with a plan to sue the American and other for £20m and give 55% £11m to their funders . That is why they had the Convertible loan note. Recover the loan and pay the Trust. Member voted for this bonkers plan.
Your writing suggests you are smart. Smart enough to be political and avoid conflict and derision from the ruling elite regulars.
Forums are for debate some banter.
The Trust has changed. It was for the little people to feel involved. Then Roberto showed up and it caught fire and grew rapidly. A 10,000% growth. The members were still in league two with Nick Cusack not Michal Laudrup in the Premier League. They needed to evolve but this was blocked by the little committee men money hoarders.
They want to be bucket carriers with arm bands to collect charity money from the fans rather that investing in growth areas like property where they generate their own cash.

Glad you are still with the Swans as a fan, nationality makes no different, a fan is fan. Hopefully the unfortunate events of the last number of year, of which there are a few, doesn't diminish your appreciation of the team.

Makes no difference to him pedalling the same agenda day after day.
Boring in the extreme!
it maybe best for there to be one anti-trust thread for the individual so it doesn't take other threads off topic. This is a straight forward solution which allows freedom of speech although some of the opinions which come across as facts for 2015/16 are inaccurate and that is unfair to those who worked for free as volunteers at the time.
It it not fair to Keith and the supporters who use this forum that so much discussion moves to the Trust or Gyokeres vs Cooper.

It is open house on the USA owners who invest but any discussion of the Welsh 10% owner who hides in is not welcome. It is censorship by the majority.
Discussing Levien is never "boring " apparently. Levien highlighted the Trust issue as a major reason for their failures and lack of fan engagement.
Levien said this . "We spent years mending and building the relationship with the supporters' trust that was damaged badly when we arrived.
"Stabilising that and finding a working relationship and resolution that ensures permanent shareholding for the trust in the club moving forward was critical in positioning the club for the future"
Levien deserves some credit for the permanent. 5% deal.

At least you accept the majority on here aren't interested in your trust obsessed posts.
What happened with the trust is in the past, the Levein/Kapaln thing is very recent, still news.
That deal was good for the then owners, not so good for the trust and the the bottlers who took it. The trust shares got bought on the cheap which I thought you were against seeing as you always...ALWAYS repeat they should be making money.
It's still boring and I don't say that as any kind of ruling elite, that is just an absurd thing to say. No poster on this board tells Keith or the Mods what to do, they tell us. We are just members with different opinions to you.
