1-2

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Hopefully the two extra days recovery will give us an advantage. 0-1.

if the Swans continue their current fine form why not 3 points...only Sunderland and to a lesser degree Sheff United have any consistency.

Sunderland were shut out at PNE last night and at bottom of the table QPR on the weekend. I’ve a feeling they’re in a false position. But I said the same of Ipswich last year.

It’s a tough schedule for Burnley playing Friday night and then again on Sunday. Can’t remember that happening before but it probably has.

sarmiento took a knock tonight and may not feature against us - he looked one of their biggest threats tonight, up front they were a bit flat but have pace out wide especially on the left . Played a high line so may be be caught out with the ball over the top . if we can keep it tight at the back we could sneak a winner.

Ronald when left up front at our defensive corners caused Watford a number of problems with his pace and play under the high ball of a good old fashion clearance down the middle of the park.

We played Friday, Saturday and Monday in Tosh's first season - Easter fixtures.

Good Friday - Reading away - won 4-1

Easter Saturday - Bournemouth home - won 1-0

Easter Monday - Torquay away - won 4-2

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Those were the days?

I was watching a programme the other day and it said that one side, can’t remember which, played on Christmas morning and afternoon. Two games on one day. Hope they had lunch in between.

Christmas Day fixtures were the norm many years ago. But two?

I remember turning up T Turf Moor only to find out I’d left our tickets in wifeys car .
The staff there were magnificent and helpful.
It’s a bugger to get out of Burnley though,in more ways than one .

Interesting, old club is Burnley, formed in 1882 and played at Turf Moor ever since, won the English League championship on a couple of occasions the last time being the 1959/60 season, won the FA cup once and runner up a couple of times.
Looking forward to the game later.

A school mate of mine started supporting them early 70s.
Simply because of Leighton James.
He still does a dozen or so games every season.
Loyal.
