Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes 10:33 - Oct 1 with 43186 views | Bluce_Ree | Am I tripping or is the apathy so high that there's not even a match thread on game day? Apologies if I'm spackman-ing this. But I can't see one. It's a battle of midtable with Hull City on a DDLLWW run vs Ciffy's Supers (DDWDDL). I'm not going to say must win. It's too early for that. But it might be must win in terms of me not exploding in rage at us dropping points in a winnable home game. Marti's got this. 2-0. I've not looked at team news but let's just say Frey and Dembele. Or not. Who gives a f**k?
| Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. |

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:41 - Oct 1 with 2496 views | SherryHoop | Frustrating evening. Nice football isn't nice when it is losing. Lack physicality from the end of last season. Marti has a few more weeks to make the is work and is perhaps due a bit of.luck but this slide is not cool.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:42 - Oct 1 with 2431 views | stainrods_elbow | That about sums it up, I'm afraid. Porous and panicky at the back, strolling around and crazily open in midfield, and pointless up front. Now Marti and his mate have been given a lucrative new contract, it's time for them to earn their money. [Post edited 1 Oct 21:43]

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:43 - Oct 1 with 2386 views | plasmahoop | A frustrating watch. We dont have enough goals in the team, lots of application tonight, many good positions but somehow didn't really look like scoring. And unfortunately look a bit weak at the back too. Not so much individually but the link between the midfield and defence. And the full backs are exposed. Santos didnt get the cover needed

Him getting the ball is the end of every move he's involved in

He's a waste of time. No one at the club seems to realise players like him are the main reason we are so crap. Nobody has been able to polish the turd this club has become on the pitch.

Our players are complete Pussies at this level. A few will struggle in the next level below as well.

Agreed. P.s. Celar is even worse than even I thought he was a few games ago (and I thought he was terrible after watching him in 2 games. Absolute waster)

I think constructive criticism is merited because he's pandering to his footballing philosophy in a division that's very unforgiving. He needs to revert to the more pragmatic style that was yielding results last season before we get sucked into yet another relegation scrap.

Yep, at least I'm not traveling over 1000 miles to watch us in Derby this weekend. Can't wait for him to start again

I don't think we would beat Cardiff at the moment.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:52 - Oct 1 with 1916 views | QPunkR | Only 3 points off bottom spot. And I think there are a lot of fans who don't think that's relevant but we've been really poor all season, can't score and sure as sht can't defend. Thank Christ Chair's back. We'll need him to perform his super heroics and drag the rest of the rabble with him yet again

Nice that CN announced MC's new contract last night - his inevitable New Year sacking will come at increased cost to the club, but a nice bonus for MC anyway. That was abysmal.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:53 - Oct 1 with 1852 views | strikerace | Why bother playing Celar? He is never where he should be, and if magically the ball drops to him the screws it up anyway. Might as well go with another midfielder.

We are already in a relegation scrap. Like you say he has to find a way to grind out a few results...or he may be Toast.

Shocking second half. I'd be putting Lloyd on before Celar who looks like a crapper version on Washington and dykes if that's actually possible. The guy just isn't good enough and he looks like he realises it now. His header sums him up. No instinct. Panicking. Looked like he was trying to clear it for a corner!!! Hope to god frey is okay for Saturday. We were abysmal in the second half. Santos is one of the worst right backs I've seen at hq. And I've seen bob malcolm and antti heinola play!!! Whoever scouted Santos, celar and madsen should have considered how they will fit in to this league. You have to be big, quick, physical, mentally strong and put a shift in. They all look to be either weak and not able to handle the power and pace that the Championship brings. There is pressure on MC now..let's see how he handles it after getting a nice new contract.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 21:55 - Oct 1 with 1756 views | Monkey_Roots | I’m sure there’s a plan, but it’s not working yet - we haven’t found our identity. Dunne looks exposed to me at CB now, I’m used to the class and composure of JCS in there. Santos just doesn’t seem up to it. Saito had a better second half, but I’m not sure you could have him, Chair and Dembele in the same team - too much luxury. Saying that though, I missed Dembele’s first couple of games, and haven’t seen what got everyone so excited yet - I know he’s quality, but I’m not sure he’s being used in his best position. Celar just looks like a clean cut Dykes. We had so many opportunities, which I guess is a positive, but just not able to take them. A properly frustrating night, the most annoyed I’ve been for a while.

We've all been saying it for season after season it seems. No one at the club seems to have a Scooby what to do about it.Is money the only real thing stopping us getting a decent striker?
