Maybe it's an attempt to take out other rival teams' best players. It worked for them by taking out Willock for the rest of the season.

Fair enough, Richarlison was being provovative, but whether Forest's players possess his PL-standard skills and technique etc, you can at least require them to show PL-standard intelligence. And that reaction was just utterly brainless, better suited to Sunday league stuff in the park. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If that's the case, then they might have done it sooner, and not waited until after he had just taken the piss out of them with an outrageous assist to put Spurs 2-0 up to seal the result. As I said above, utterly brainless.

Nottingham Forest on 16:31 - Aug 30 with 3361 views | joe90 | Since we're talking about Nottingham Forest... I recently discovered that our very own Stan Bowles was in the 79/80 European Cup winning squad. Also, we've all seen the iconic footage of Brian Clough hitting the home fans. I recently discovered that the team they were playing was in fact, our very own QPR. I'm sure a number of posters on here were at that game. Just want to keep the Forest thread alive. I think it's funny.

I was at the top of the long stand that night, came up on the train from Leicester, and remember it well. Strangely enough i thought we started brightly.....lol Then hot footing to the station for the train back to Leicester rather than run the gauntlet of the home fans.

Bowles’s autobiography is very enlightening on this! Didn’t get on with OBH. He seemed quite rueful.

Stan might have played as well but he wasn't selected for John Robertson's testimonial match prior to the final. He got the hump with Clough and performed another of his walk outs like he did with England a few years before. He missed their mini break to Majorca prior to the final and that was that for his career at Forest. He probably would have featured as they couldn't even fill their quota of subs but there was only one winner when you crossed Cloughie. [Post edited 30 Aug 2022 19:38]

I fully expect them to make a bid for Haaland at HT, I wouldn't be surprised to see him trot out for the second half in red.

I was there that night too.Teddy sheringham hat trick if I remember rightly.I also went a few weeks later for the 4-0 league game. The police came on the official supporters coach videoing all of us on the coach. They also used to send coaches back if they spotted any alcohol on there.Absolute c unts they were. The 4-0 game was the previous season, but every time I went there we seemed to concede a hatful of goals anyway. [Post edited 31 Aug 2022 22:06]

Spend over £150 million and still nowhere near Man City. One consolation of not going up is avoiding heavy defeats like the ones this week.

Unbelievably the player who literally jumped on top of him didn't even get a yellow. Don't really see what Richarlison did wrong, to be honest.
