On 21st May 1982 Swansea City completed its first ever season in the UK Football League First Division with a sixth place finish. Their year on year rise from Division Four to the top division is a record in UK football.

A great season for swans fans. Some of those away games were iffy, Man City, Utd, WBA stand out. In fact we lost all of them 😂 And the attendances were Doug Sharpesque
