In which universe, when we have a dead ball foul and target men waiting at the edge of the opposition box, is it a good idea to pass it 10 yds backwards to Dorsett who then has to hit a moving ball past an on-rushing defender. Which then falls short and leaves us defending a break. Sometimes our tactics beggar belief | |

We started well but they grew in influence with the MJ Williams lookalike starting to gain space and dictate play. Newby finding pockets but little hint of end product, albeit cynically fouled a few times. Grant showing nice touches and Campbell looks a good player without it quite linking up yet (often back to goal but no one near enough to him).
Home fans sparse and quiet… but can add their banner of COL U 1 TEAM IN ESSEX PRIDE OF ANGLIA to the highlights of the first half.

Yeah the link between the team and the top 3 isn't quite working. Feels like too much for Newby and Grant to do with the rest not getting up the pitch fast enough. Campbell's working with scraps.
