Omicron on 23:04 - Dec 30 by Brynmill_Jack | The Chinese passenger on that ship would have come into contact with crew every day before realising he was ill. cruise ship crews (entertainments/housekeeping/waiting/engineering) are all cheek to jowl below decks and they all share cabins - a ripe breeding ground for a virus to spread. |
But AFD was alluding to the virus being in free and widespread circulation in a confined space for a month, and that only 7 / 800 infected were infected due to some degree of inate immunity. That isn't the case. The infected passenger was on board for 5 days, once his infection was discovered everyone was confined to their cabins and tested and as people were ill they were removed. He's misunderstood the situation. Baring in mind this was the original strain and nowhere near as infectious as current variants that level of infection is frightening.
Omicron on 16:12 - Dec 31 with 1320 views | Catullus | Hmm, this is difficult but it has to be said. I think that some people do have a natural immunity to the virus, to varying degrees. Some of us will come into contact with the virus and just get very lucky. There are so many variables involved it's impossible to tie down why some people get infected and others don't, For example, you could open a door and the breeze could divert some particles that were destined for your nostrils. The wind could change, you could breathe out at the perfect moment. For some people it will be the precautions they took but for others it'll be pure luck.

"But AFD was alluding to the virus being in free and widespread circulation in a confined space for a month," I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you misread what I wrote and are not just lying. Quotes from my posts. "The vessel was quarantined off Japan for two weeks after a Chinese passenger from 2 weeks before that tested positive" Yes, unless you can prove otherwise, according to you they should all have caught COVID after spending a month together with COVID circulating and them partying and couped up in small spaces for at least half of that time. ie the time between the passenger leaving and the quarantine started. Which just proves that you do not read what I actually write and put your own words to what I say.

Omicron on 20:02 - Dec 30 by Scotia | You said. "according to you they should all have caught COVID after spending a month together with COVID circulating and them partying and couped up in small spaces for at least half of that time." This response is an attempt at diversion. Again. They clearly didn't spend a month partying and circulating. As soon as the infected man was discovered after spending 5 days on board the entire ship was confined to their cabins and tested. As people were discovered to be positive they were removed from the ship. You also have to bare in mind this was the original Wuhan strain which was nowhere near as infectious as recent strains. That is also why everyone in a family doesn't get infected. You don't catch covid instantly you are within 2 metres of someone, the less you are exposed the less likely you are to contract covid. Families isolate themselves wherever possible, where its not possible the entire family often gets infected. But in these instances the entire family don't get infected at exactly the same time. I've had friends who've tested positive a week after the rest of the family. So can you prove there is some form of inate immunity to covid? |
As well as having no idea how the uninfected remained unifected you are also clueless about what happened on the Diamond Princess. You state "As people were discovered to be positive they were removed from the ship" Which is completely wrong, the only positive passengers allowed to leave the ship were those in desperate need of hospitalisation. It was those with negative tests that were allowed to leave the ship on the 19th of February. The positieve tested passengers remained on the ship until the 1st of March. During the whole Quarantine period those susceptible continued to be infected, here is the time line. 3 February Berthed at the Port of Yokohama 5 February 31 10 [108] 6 February 102 20 Calculated from reports[108][109] 7 February 273 61 [109] 8 February 279 64 [110] 9 February 336 70 [111] 10 February 439 135 [112] 12 February 492 174 Calculated from reports[112][113] 13 February 713 218 [113] 15 February 930 285 Includes 73 asymptomatic cases[114] 16 February 1,219 355 Includes 111 asymptomatic cases[115] 17 February 1,723 454 Includes 189 asymptomatic cases[26] 18 February 2,404 542 Includes 254 asymptomatic cases[116] 19 February 3,011 621 Includes 322 asymptomatic cases[117] 20 February 3,063 634 Includes 328 asymptomatic cases[118] 26 February 4,061 705 Includes 392 asymptomatic cases[119] 5 March 3,618*1 696*2 Includes 410 asymptomatic cases Which once again proves you just don't know what you are talking about.

Cat, I first came across Immunity when I was 13. My cousin knocked us both off our bikes and we were taken to the local cottage hospital where they gave us Tetanus "scratches" and told us to come back the next day. My arm was red and swollen and my cousin's wasn't. He was chuffed and I thought I might die of "lockjaw". But my arm's reaction showed that I had a strong Immune response and his didn't. So he ended up having Tetanus jabs and I went home.

Well it turns out that me and the wife have got covid. Obviously caught from my nephew and his wife on Christmas day. I wouldn't have suspected it, but I've had a cold since before Christmas that didn't seem to go, and woke up coughing for about 20 minutes the night before last so got a test. I've done 8 tests over the past 10 days (pcr and lft) due to travel and just tested positive so definitely contracted it since December 23rd. I think I've been symptomatic for 48 hours and it's very easy to mistake for a cold, it's hard to be accurate because it's overlapped with a mild cold. I've genuinely had considerably worse colds. I'm a bit concerned that most of the LFT'S haven't picked it up, the eventual positive line was incredibly faint, in fact barely visible. I'm grateful to be vaccinated, I feel well enough to go for a run and gutted that I can't. Be careful this is everywhere, get bloody vaccinated. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s certainly my experience of LFTs too. Loads of examples of negative LFTs followed by positive PCRs. I don’t trust them at all at this point. On the flip side I’ve not know a positive LFT least to a negative PCR. I’m not saying this is a good thing, mind.

LFTs, should be used when there are no symptoms and PCRs when there are

That is great news. By studying the blood of those who seem immune to Covid despite being in close contact with hundreds of Covid patients met find a possible cure for it. Now that’s what I call science

No it is not likely because the government won't want to give up their new found powers of making instant laws at the drop of a hat. Plus because all the vaccinated people are probably going to get Omicron. Because they do not provide Immunity to the whole Virus. But the real Scientists and Virologists told us that last year and nobody wanted to listen. Remind us again how long ago you had your booster. Of course with Omicron more like the Flu the pandemic should be declared over anyway and treated like the Flu.

Omicron on 09:48 - Jan 3 with 775 views | A_Fans_Dad | Finally someone gets the correct treatment for severe covid, a double vaxxed Nurse with ashma was on a ventilator in a coma, which is the wrong treatment as established by the yanks back in April 2020, but established treatment recommended by China and WHO. They saved her life by giving her Viagra to increase her BLOOD FLOW to her organs, just as the yank doctor suggested. Of course there is not just viagra that would work. If your blood is damaged and can't carry enough oxygen, why not give a blood transfusion? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10362771/Nurse-wakes-28-day-Covid-coma-

Could you explain the reasoning behind the current laws which in the main affect the economy and those who contribute , why would any government want to deliberately decimate the economy with no reason other than ?

Ever heard of the saying power corrupts? Well I have posted a video that shows that this is not a UK government issue this is an almost worldwide issue, but mainly the G7 countries and the areas they control. It starts with the Elites, UN and WEF and the means to get to "the great reset". Thay openly tell us where "we" are going based on what "they" say. Whether you believe it or not I and thousands of much smarter people than me do.
