Surely the EFL have to act against people who make "homophobic, offensive and aggressive comments" whilst pretending they are interested in running a football club?

Taken from the FA website:

"English football will never accept racism or any form of discrimination in our game and we will use every opportunity to send a strong unified message that we are together against inequality. This includes continuing our collective efforts to lobby Government on the Online Safety Bill and urging social media companies to act faster and take action to protect their users from abuse.

Mark Bullingham, FA CEO said: “We stand firmly against all forms of prejudice, so a key pillar of our strategy is to use our influence to deliver a game free from discrimination. We are striving to ensure that football at all levels is a safe environment for all, embracing diversity and inclusion, whilst challenging hateful conduct both on and off the pitch.

We should try urgently to collectively fill his in-box with complaints about the comments made.

You could have copied in the MEN and Rochdale Online then our esteemed MP might be jolted into a response especially if the local press ask for a comment. Not responding to emails. Now where have I come across that before? Erm?

Have spoken to MEN journalist. Have given them a brief story of what's been happening, from just before the AGM, EGMs, to now. He is going to read all the stuff on this message board, especially RAFC Blues' stuff, and the Trust's statements. Advised him to speak to the Trust, especially the officers. He seems genuinely interested, especially as we don't want other local clubs going to the wall.

Just e-mailed also, similar points to above on F&P, also asked how they can even be comfortable with the legality of this transaction knowing (a) the things that were allegedly said to existing shareholders during attempts to acquire shares, and (b) there are known enquiries from fans willing to acquire shares (and who would - in small chunks - undoubtedly have been willing to outbid these guys) that have allegedly been roundly ignored.

I do this for a living and wouldn't touch this transaction or lend to these guys in a million years under the circumstances. It's a shame they've obviously found their own "Capital Bridging Finance Solutions".

Had a response from one of Tony Lloyd's caseworkers. He will raise the issue with him as soon as he can. I have asked him to ask TL, to speak to the Trust, as they have the best information on the affair.

No doubt, Covid will be blamed...

Dear Tony Lloyd,

I write to you about the developments of the hostile attempt to take over Rochdale AFC.

I include links to the Supporter's Trust recent statement plus an article written by a Dale supporting local journalist. Please can you contact the EDL and Sports Minister over these worrying developments.

Thanks for the update

It is a shame that it's taken so long for this to come about, but we are where we are, and his support will no doubt be welcome in the battle against what amounts to an existential threat to our club, not to mention its fans

it is a nice touch from Swindon Town supporters trust, after their horrible experience with Curran's associate Lee Power and I presume we have the support of fans across the EFL who fed up with the shysters seeking to take over clubs, run them into the ground after making more then a quick £. I would like to see every team to be have 51% of its shares owned by the fans or supporters trust.

The EFL must make a stand and say enough is enough and tell any shyster wishing to take over any EFL club to bugger off and don't come back.

Is there a list of Media/FA/EFL/MP contacts that we can all raise our concerns with as supporters?

There were also a few Blue Ticks on twitter that seemed to join in on the Bury bandwagon, be interested to see if they can raise awareness of the “Curran(t) Shit-show” of the takeover

Too late to get a banner sorted for tomorrow, but that sort of slogan should easily fit on a bed sheet.

Or maybe BazingaDale can lend us one of his spares

Either way it would be good to get this issue in front of the Quest audience on a Saturday evening.

I'm losing track of all the stuff that has been done so far, but have we tried contacting fan groups in the areas where these 2 come from? Also local media around there. They might have some useful information if they are a bit dodgy. Is Rose based in Worksop? Would Mansfield and Sheffield be the closest to there?

I attended a match one time where the home supporters were trying to oust the board. They had created a song that was sung at every game. But they also reached out to all sets of away supports to join in we them, to great effect.
I was in the away pub before the game and they were already singing the song. Talk about peaking early.
Over to you R_Kershaw.

'will take the most appropriate action available to it under its Regulations.'

If that is anything other than telling this bunch of sharks to fook right off the regulations need rewriting.

As obnoxious as these shady people appear to be, the ott outrage by fans is comical. I totally agree that there are many small minded people in Rochdale - why would that offend or come as a surprise to anyone ? How often do people allude to resolving disputes in a boxing ring but it’s a figure of speech. Nancy boys is offensive but you hear so much worse in the pub or on a match day . Homophobic offensive and aggressive ? What a woke snowflake response. Obnoxious individuals? Absolutely, but get things into perspective folks.

Hi Andy

Your outdated posts is very similar to the illegal comments made to the EFL as reported by the Daily Telegraph

There is no place for any form of discrimination in 2021.

There are small-minded people everywhere. That's not what was intimated when "they" spoke about Rochdale specifically, to suggest otherwise is just wriggling.

I've never offered to settle a dispute in the boxing ring either. I must be a nancy boy I suppose.
