Who is advising Dan James? 20:28 - Jan 23 with 10209 views | dickythorpe | If Leeds go up I can't see him playing regularly. Plus Leeds aren't really going to do much damage to the established clubs in that league. His Wales prospects will be harmed also. He is so raw and needs at least another full season with us. You'd think Curt would be a type of mentor to him plus some of our older pros. [Post edited 23 Jan 2019 20:30]

Who is advising Dan James? on 10:25 - Jan 24 by LeonWasGod | I'll be tampin if they do sell him. When is the early bird renewal deadline again? End of the month coinciding with the close of the window is it? |
What'll really influence the whole transfer situation will be if the club is still saddled with Bony, Narsingh and Ayew. IMO if mega-earners are still here he'll be off. Apart from players, the likes of Jenkins and Pearlman are earning PL Wages themselves and they'll want a favourable cash-flow situation so that the filthy lucre trail continues to fall right into their back pockets.

The Ayews agent is pretty good at his job, he'll find them new places to go for a payday. We won't be stuck with them. Worst case it'll be another two loans.

Who is advising Dan James? on 09:23 - Jan 24 by shandyjack | 'The club don't want to sell Dan and unless they're forced to ie a ridiculous offer comes in that any club would consider, they won't.' Genuine question Chris, but how do you know this to be true? Is it just pure guess work same as others are guessing we are desperate to sell at a low amount. |
It's not guess work but of course things can always change. I know that sounds like a cop out caveat but it's also a fact of life. Imagine Leeds were desperate enough to offer £40k or upwards a week (thinking they are going up) well that could change Dan's thinking. Imagine the club were offered £10m upwards. This isn't the EPL now and that money would go a long way (please, just for once let's not hijack that sentence with hedgefund crap, let's take it on the face of what it really would be, good bloody business - like when we sold Rodgers and Allen) So things can change quickly in football. Potter explains this and it's the truth. But Dan wants to stay and the club don't want to sell.

Who is advising Dan James? on 10:53 - Jan 24 by Loyal | They cannot equate getting back to the premier League with selling our best talent. If this happens and I hope Eamsey is right in his 'guess' ... They are asset stripping if Dan goes, it's appalling that anyone can think about supporting them. [Post edited 24 Jan 2019 10:54]

How on earth would that be asset stripping?.. Please, the Trust, you have a duty to correct this type of comment.

see i get all your points about offers too good to turn down. But with regards your last sentence how do you know both cases to be true. I'd guess that James doesn't want to leave but how can you be so sure the club don't want to sell. They have been silent on the issue which is an unusual stance if a player is not for sale

We must have sneaked out in the middle of the night last June and nicked Celina, Asoro, McKay and Co.from in front of their respective clubs faces. Shame.

If we were offered £10m upwards then I won't say a bad word against the sale. Every player has a price, especially in our position, but selling a player for under £5m, which seems to be widely reported is the case, would be pathetic. They just said we are building a team around our youngsters and to crumble for less than £5m, there can be no excuses as far as I'm concerned.

To us maybe £10 million. In the real world £2.5 would be a good deal.

This is the harsh reality. Although our owners would always try for the Max value. Have we all forgotten about the Siggy saga where they got almost universal praise? Until it dragged on to painful measures
