The most troubling thing is that some people in the UK would actually believe that to be true! I'd be happy if I never hear the word Brexit ever again, especially as an Expat as its all people ever bloody ask me about.

If we revoke Article 50 then Brexit is dead, we can't do it again which would be a hell of a decision to make
If the current impasse continues frontbenchers across parliament might vote to revoke. If they did there will obviously be trouble.
They might do it on the basis of saying there will -post article 50 withdrawal be a withdrawal by treaty negotiated which includes a full future association agreement to allow the UK to trade with Europe in future and be outside the EU. The article 50 notification was very foolish however much May, Corbyn et al called for it as it put the larger partner in the driving seat one day one and there were people saying so at the time.
Leaving by treaty and unravelling 40 years of integration would take 5 -10 years but would allow something very complicated to happen in a sane manner.UK would be negotiating from a much more secure position. Probably too many headbangers on both sides for something sensible to happen though.

It is my considered opinion, and without prejudice, that the entity known as the European Union has but a few scant years to live.It is likened to pumping blood into a corpse to continue further. The UK(or what part still exists thereof)seeking to court the Union will be as an invited party guest finding itself the sole possessor of an empty house the rave PA silent and only a flat Party Six for refreshment.Unholy alliances and holy alliances will form and former currencies will be be revived backed by gold. There will be envious eyes cast eastwards to the Belt And Road Initiative - the filter through which all European thought will flow Sadiq wants a cracker Sadiq wants a cracker

Kind of losing track with it all but am i right in thinking that if Corbyn decides to sit on his hands for the next two and a half months and refuses to cooperate with the Tories then, by parliamentary procedure, he'll get the No Deal that he's really wanted all along?
Given the Labour Party's close association with the trade unions and the supposed carnage caused to manufacturing by a no deal scenario, why do you think that?
Corbyn is keeping his policy a secret. As others have said, it doesn't look good that he won't at least engage with May. That said, she should have been holding talks with the other party leaders and keeping them informed along the way previously.
"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
Labour MP's represent urban remain constituencies ( e.g Manchester, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Cardiff) and leave areas such as Stoke and Sunderland. Labour has a balancing act of those who want a second referendum and those who want to leave. Staying in the customs union is a brexit for those more in the middle. I am a Labour supporter and voted remain holding my nose. There are a lot of faults within the EU looking at issues such as Greece. Also immigration is too high. I live in East London and have seen a population increase drastically in recent years.

Why do you think this? Where did you read that Article 50 can't ever be triggered more than once?
During the debate on Tuesday the attorney general bloke said if we did this and then tried to invoke article 50 again it would need approval from the EU for us to do it which would be unlikely

good reason it's being kept secret because he doesn't have a plan. He spoke on Andrew Marr last weekend and some of his ideas for how he would deal with Brexit were a non starter

As I understand it the original treaties surrounding the EU left no procedure for a country to withdraw and article 50 was quickly put in place to rectify this omission. Is it then the case that the AG is saying article 50 can be invoke unilaterally by any country only once. We would be a member of a club which legally we could never leave without the permission of the other members whatever rules that club might impose.

Without seeing what you're referencing - Geoffrey Cox might've been being a bit disingenuous dependent on what he exactly said...
Withdrawing Art.50 doesn't mean you can never ever trigger it again in future at all.
The CJEU ruling said the UK could withdraw / revoke Art.50 as per this article explainer...
"However, once the UK has revoked Article 50, there would be nothing stopping it from deciding to leave again. So this would be quite difficult to police, and in practice it could potentially be used to reset the two year negotiating period. This would probably make other EU member states, and officials, extremely angry however. "

At this stage I think the EU Member states are already pretty angry / embarrassed for us anyway. If it takes revoking Article 50 to stop our country getting totally f--ked by a no deal that's come about by the total incompetence, dithering and lies from politicians over the last two years I'm all for it.

That performance by Gove (during which he did not mention May once! Quite transparently a leadership pitch) was absolutely vile, a greatest hits rundown of three years worth of unsubstantiated smears and innuendo. Honestly, a real microcosm of all that is wrong with British politics. Just a load of posh toffs have a jolly old time laughing at their mate's debate-club grandstanding. Cynical ad hominem politics at its worst.
I couldn’t watch more than a minute or two of that garbage. What a bunch of hypocritical w@nkers the Tory mps are.117 of them didn’t think she was fit to run their party, but all of them voted that she was fit to run the country.

The policy Corbyn is keeping secret is called 'No Deal'.
As for the trade unions, many believe the EU acts in the interests of big business and against the interests of workers and they'd be right.
