Sorry about Carlos 11:53 - May 9 with 3355 views | SWFC_FAN_IN_PEACE | It's amazing how the bloke has managed to condense his entire 2 and a half year spell at Wednesday into 5 months at Swansea. Watching you last night reminded me so much of his last year and a half at Hillsborough. Negative, dour laborious football. Yet he'll come out and say the players worked hard and gave there all. Truth is after the initial bounce he tactically gets found out. He's a charismatic bloke, full of analogies and entertaining press conferences but it's all a show. Without sounding too harsh on the man, he is a bit of a fraud. In his first season at Wednesday the pressure was off. It was the first time we had spent money in two decades and nobody knew what to expect. He took us to a play off final but bottled the most important game. He took us to the play offs the following season but truth be told it was awful football and we had a lot of luck along the way. But again when the pressure was really on he bottled it again in the most shockingly negative play off semi defeat I've watched. It was disgraceful. This season he completely lost the plot, forgot to do fitness training and rushed a number of players back from injury when they clearly weren't fit. The result meant our season was over before it began and a lot of our players have missed the whole season through poor conditioning and terrible management of injuries. Luckily he's out of our club now. Therefore I felt so sorry for you when he walked into your job. I knew he'd give you an initial lift he's a quirky bloke who can inspire players and fans alike for a short spell. But it doesn't last, it soon fades and he gets found out for the poor manager he really is. 2 goals in 7 games for you guys? How many shots on goal? All sounds so familiar. Unfortunately it looks like your down so we'll see you next season. Let's hope either way though, whatever league you are in your chairman has the sense not to give Carlos a new contract. Good luck for tonight.

Sorry about Carlos on 11:56 - May 9 with 3305 views | omarjack | The devastating part was that sudden feeling that things were gonna truly change..we've beaten Liverpool and Arsenal back to back ffs.. but then to realize it was all a bubble waiting to burst..at the least fortunate time. I can imagine WBA feeling the same about Darren Moore..it's the hope that kills you.

Sorry about Carlos on 11:59 - May 9 with 3271 views | sainthelens | Cheers pal, kind words. I for one was singing his praises early on, but a combo of rank poor players and him confusing himself over systems has left us where we are. I could go on about our board/ owners, but you don't wanna go there. I wouldn't worry bout us challenging you for promotion next year... we'll be happy to survive the state we are in. BUT...who knows next few days..a footballing miracle? I doubt it.
Sorry about Carlos on 12:02 - May 9 with 3241 views | Morfa_Same | I think he deserves some credit for almost saving us despite a woeful squad and the fact we were dead and buried when he arrived. However I don't like his formation, he's too defensive and this long ball shite is painful to watch. I'd quite like to see a fresh start next season - the manager, owners and as many of the players as we can offload.

He's a bottler mate. When the pressure is off and nobody is expecting the win he'll pull it out the bag. In his first season nobody thought we'd knock Arsenal out the cup, beat Brighton in the play off semis. Second season nobody has us down to beat Newcastle home and away. But when the pressure is on he crumbles Play off final, play off semis, Sheffield United at home and now for you boys. Yesterday was huge for you, a must win game at home too. He bottled it. I really don't rate the bloke. Had a huge budget at Wednesday but signed crocks and past it players on big wages. Left us in a right mess financially and we'll be fixing the mess for a few years in my opinion. He comes across a nice bloke but his managerial ability isn't all that. There's a reason he's had so many jobs. Hopefully your chairman won't get fooled like ours did.

Darren Moore has done everything he could, it's through no fault of his WBA have gone down. At least Carlos has given us some funny quotes, meat on the BBQ etc

Sorry about Carlos on 12:24 - May 9 with 3029 views | jack2jack | We've seen that Rabbit caught in the headlights look before. The last two games especially. The PL is brutal, and has crushed many a decent manager. PS I know the blame lies elsewhere, just saying like.tbh I'm still numb. Anyway cheers SWFC fan 👠

That was because you said he was universally despised, or words to that effect.

I second that, I wrote at the time he was a shadow of PC , lost and alone. like you I am numb, not only about whats gone on over the years , but these last 7 or so games, no effort or idea at all.

Sorry about Carlos on 16:51 - May 10 with 2117 views | BLAZE | No animosity here for the guy. He f*cked it up on the finish line, but considering what he had to work with he done well to get us there to begin with Good luck to him wherever he ends up and thanks for trying. Blame lies further up the tree

We went in to the last 2 games of the season, both at home to teams in the bottom 4, realistically needing to get a point in each to be safe. Don’t lose against Southampton and we are in a very strong position. He sends out 3 full backs, 2 centre backs, 3 defensive midfielders and 2 wingers. We wouldn’t have scored if we had played all night. The blame lies as much with CC as it does with anyone else

Sorry about Carlos on 18:30 - May 10 with 1742 views | perplex | Like Monk a great talker, not such a great manager, reminds me of these football pundits like Gary Neville and co who seem to know everything even tho they have failed dismally as managers.
Sorry about Carlos on 18:34 - May 10 with 1718 views | Private_Partz | I feel sorry him. He got the new manager bounce buy he could not keep a poor squad going long enough to see the season out with the modicum of success that was needed in the end. Paul Clement was right. Carlos, Clem and most certainly Frankie have all suffered as a result of the incompetence of the same man.

Well I said he f*cked up at the finish line but he got us far closer to it than the previous manager was able too, who himself got us over it last year when his predecessor looked unable to... and repeat, and repeat. We can blame the managers or we could look at the common denominator over this period To say AS MUCH blame lies with CC as it does Jenkins is absurd

Sorry about Carlos on 18:55 - May 10 with 1613 views | jacksfullaces | limited analysis. the same people who rip into this manager will no doubt have done the same to all the others after poor results for 5/6 games. and probably heaped praise for the first 6 games. with the exception of the DYSSer he just dysses everything/everyone. plenty of material at the moment mind you.
