The timing of getting rid of Clement is Jenkins looking after himself. He knew the net was closing and was going to be in the firing line Saturday. By appointing Leon he knows that the fans will get behind him and the team. Luckily a lot have seen through this. |
It would not surprise me if Jenkins told Britts to hammer home ‘we need the fans behind us’ he kept saying in the press conference yesterday.
I’d say for how p iss poor we have been this season the support has been excellent.
Jenkins worried he is now going to be have some shite chucked his way which I hope he does tomorrow.
