Wigan game postponed on 16:29 - Nov 5 by mightydale | EFL still answer to the FA |
Not in this case. | |
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

I think if both clubs agreed to the change and the police didn't object the EFL would rubber stamp it. Sadly I don't think both clubs would go for it

Walsall have also had two international call-ups, so they might not be so keen.

Wigan game postponed on 11:28 - Nov 5 by Luke8686 | Makes too much sense to actually happen if you ask me. My train tickets are non-refundable unfortunately so going to head up to Manchester anyway. Quick glance at the fixtures next weekend shows there's no other fixtures in the area so will have to do something non-football related (ffs). |
Luke, Alty host Rambottom United on Saturday if you fancy taking a game in.

Wigan game postponed on 22:14 - Nov 4 by Dalenet | brilliant. And I have booked two nights at the Norton Grange too. Balls. And probably wont be able to get to a rearranged mid week match |
Its about time the football authorities were brought to account for this. Fans buying train tickets in advance in order to get cheaper fares getting screwed by international cancellations that only occur after the teams have been selected. Surely with the clout of FA and FL they get train companies to agree to refunds or credits when games are cancelled for international calls. It only applies to bottom two divisions so we are not talking about mega numbers here. Isnt there a national body representing football fans?
