Broken his toe and heading home to South Korea. Hopefully he doesn't come back!!!

I don't see what difference it makes if he mends his broken toe in South Korea or in Swansea.
I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he''s available again soon. All hands to the deck in the current situation.

He might have been utter gash this season but this is in no way good news.

This thread is just further proof that most posters on here only care about validating personal agendas rather than supporting the team.

Get well soon, Ki.

Your post validates everyone else's belief that you don't know what you're talking about Newp. Get well soon Ki, shouldn't be anywhere near a Swansea City team though.

Penny pinching?

It's a broken f*cking toe not a heart transplant FFS.

I see where you are coming from. Taking the p!ss ;-) He is not going up to casualty and queue with the p!ssheads. I was talking about the whole shooting match. Is private health care for a Korean cheaper here or in his own country?

This tends to be the case with players here
Remember Ferrie? It was argued at the time he may have been better off seeing an American specialist. Don't rule out penny pinching either. Treatment in his home country may be cheaper. Bad news for me regardless. An already depleted midfield is now even worse off.
I don't rule our this as an excuse for gardening leave either as a result of his comments made when he was away on international duty.

Treatment in his home country may be better, never mind cheaper. Don't rule that out either as we've far from the best health care in the developed world. I'm fairly sure cost won't be an issue. Could be a smokescreen I suppose.

I do find it odd that people are celebrating when he's one of our few senior midfielders and we need everyone we can get.

If he can't play why shouldn't he spend time back home with his family?

Who does it benefit to have him sat in some house around here?

He's a strange one is Ki.There's a good player in there somewhere and he suits us as he can keep hold of the ball.Nothing flashy but does retain possesion for us and keeps things ticking over. He's never really fulfilled his potential here and probably never will do either as he doesn't score nowhere near enough or create but on his day he's a decent midfielder being played out of position.

One of those players who's gifted enough to not look out of place in a good team, but not gifted enough to influence games in a poor team. Frustrating player if nothing else.

All very good points. I agree apart from cost. I don't think there is any level this lot will not stoop to in order to save a few pennies.
