Was Bobs change of tactics forced by Sigurdsson? 23:35 - Nov 6 with 13638 viewsJackBaston

Im pretty sure i saw Sigurdsson have a go at Bob after the third goal, and tell Routledge and Borja to go on the wings
Anyone else see that?

Most constructive thing from Siggy since France then.

Yes spot on mate he decided to change formation not Bradley clear as day but not surprised by that my opinion of Siggi had gone down a lot recently not just because of his performance just a familiar pattern occurring here

No offence don't rip this guy for this thread it is spot on sigurdsson did instigate the change clear as day. Total disrespect by him to his manager and club

Well it f ucking worked. We were the better side once we had a bit of width.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Little point in playing 2 tall strikers, then having nobody to provide any width to provide them with any service *

* Not saying our wingers can cross anyway

I wonder if taylor or routledge had done the same you would say the same, that much of a genius he put our record signing a striker on the wing. And as for width barrow and montero are useless pace and no end product but yes better than routledge

As I've said in another thread, yes they were useless but their very presence forced the Utd defence to drop a bit deeper, which is what allowed us to control the middle of the park a bit more in the second half.

Any idiot could see we were crying out for width.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I agree we needed width but the point is Siggi should not be dictating things regardless of if he is right or wrong. Yes we are shit out manager not up to it but I think the guy is a bad egg personally

Disrespect? He's showing massive respect to the club by actually giving a fudge, and for pointing out the painfully obvious to someone who apparently couldn't see it.

If he hadn't we would have ended up 7 or 8 nil down.

And so taylor and Ki were spot on for telling Franco they shouldn't be subbed as they knew it was best they stayed on pitch for better of club... And super Gylfi also stated things are massively better under Bob can see why now he gets to do what the hell he wants by sound of it

What did you want him to do then? Take a record scoring hammering on the chin? It could of been double figures.

One manager knew what he was doing and when he had made a mistake. The other is Bradley.

At 0-3 down any senior player willing to make a stand and grasp the nettle deserves credit IMO.

It's a very fine line but somebody needed to react! we all know siggy is a good pro and probably the last person you'd expect to do this kind of thing.

If siggy thinks it needs changing and does it then fair to say he thinks our manager is totally clueless and the scoreline after 30 odd minutes backs him up.

He will be off in January is my guess, he didnt sign for us to play on the wing for a manager that cant manage and a club that wont sign players.
Tried to do the right thing today but is woefully off form.

Are you honestly saying you'd rather him just keep stum, and play passively in a quite frankly ridiculous formation just for 'respect' to Bob Bradley? So if he decides to play Amat as the lone striker and we aren losing 12-3 (no goals from Amat), all players should just do as their told and keep kicking and smiling? Cmon

God the last two muppets have replied just don't get it. I was a huge guidolin fan and think bobs a joke appointment, but if Siggi in your eyes was right for today it's a bit shallow considering Ki and taylor as wrong as they were got hammered for their reactions when subbed

If we were 0-3 down and we had a manager that was struggling to see his own faults id be happy for any player to show leadership.
