Only an idiot, or a deliberate sh1t-stirrer with an anti- Dale agenda would choose not to attend, simply because the team sheet has been published.
The negative comments made before a ball was kicked were petty, ridiculous and unfair.
Bunney and Thompson made massive contributions yesterday and the cross from Bunney for the winning goal was an absolute peach and Davies will bag plenty if that can be replicated on a regular basis.
Those who didn't come were the ones who missed out. Perhaps your absence and lack of negative taunts had a positive effect on the team.
Keith Keane was excellent and on that performance will be a great asset. McGahey simply HAD to make a challenge but Long made the most of it, as you would expect him to do. He actually shouted in pain before he went down. No surprise when the ref gave it, but contrived.
All in all, a well deserved 3 points and plenty of signs that this team is coming to life. |  |
