NORWICH SIGN OLIVEIRA

Norwich have completed the signing of striker Nelson Oliveira from Benfica on a four-year deal.

The 25-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee and Canaries boss Alex Neil told the club website: "It’s a great signing for us because he’s a very good player technically.
"He’ll be a creator of goals as well as a scorer of them. Having been at Benfica, there’s no questioning his quality and he’s played with some top players."

Creator of goals ... really

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

He's a nice guy and a decent player but surely not Premier League quality. He did OK in the Championship with Forest.

By the way, how come Hal Robson-Kanu still hasn't got a club? He's leaving it a bit late.

Best back up we have ever had, physical and brave, his goal at Newcastle summed him up. Very poor judgement by the club.

He's a free agent so he isn't bound by the transfer window.

The problem with ITK posters (if there are any) is that they must hear about the transfer targets that don't go anywhere as well as the ones that sign.e.g. We are interested in x player but it turns out that he doesn't want to move/club won't sell/club want too much/can't agree personal terms etc.

If they post about every player we look at everyone would just take the mick when it doesn't happen. Much better not to be ITK.

Looked a far better player than anything we have seen from Llorente.

Would much rather Oliveira here on ~30k a week with enough spare wages to buy another winger than wasting another colossal sum on another journeyman striker who never was all that good anyway.
