Am still pondering in between reading loads of budget shite, I have such fun.
1.30 Garde le Victoire is the one who will definitely like the ground. Hobbs usually gets one. 2.10 Our Kaempfer was one of my three little ante-post bets and I wish I hadn't bothered as yard form isn't great, but if he's OK then he'll go close. 2.50 Vautour should win this really. Road to Riches for the forecast. 3.30 Much more open than the betting suggests so will oppose Thistlecrack and maybe even lay him for a place. The Nicholls two should run well. Cole Harden will be thereabouts but will go for Alpha Des Obeaux. 4.10 Fingal Bay and Salubrious are likely sorts e/w but very open race. 4.50 Limini seems hard to oppose. 5.30 Wide open so a couple of stupid litte e/w bets here in Corrin Wood and Amigo.
Good luck all anyway.

Cheltenham! Day One Bets... on 13:05 - Mar 17 with 2887 views
forgot to post earlier on, had a treble on the 3 shorties that saved the day. After Annie Power bit the dust last year I decided to lay a little bit back on the last runner but she powered home ok.
other than that had a couple of places but pretty disappointing overall; fancied Garde La Victoire to win the first and it all stayed about that level for the rest of the day, apart from the get out of jail treble (first time the multi has come in as one always goes titsup, hence keeping it just to the three).
getting a bit bored of the Mullins/Walsh domination though.

Two winners for me last race saved the day so ended up 50 up for the day Should be a better day Friday hopefully
I'm amazed she got round. That is a proper achievement as they go bloody quickly in the foxhunters and given the amount of runners I expected her to come off in the first few fences.
Very different at HQ when compared to a small field hunter chase or point to point race. Did the right thing and stayed out the back, when she actually put it in the race properly I thought she was a goner.
My neighbours horse came 18th with a respected amateur jockey on board. Fair play to VP, she's a proper headcase for doing it and a truly competitive nutter for getting round.
Massive case of seconditis for me today, not worth boring you with my tale of woe!
