Well based on that article you're missing nothing. So either: a) Justin Edinburgh has been misquoted b) Justin Edinburgh is wrong and the number is 500k c) The sell-on clause is not 20% but 40% d) QPR have mislead us all by quoting a fee that is half the true amount Given the way the article mentions the numbers, it seems quite informed. And I note that Darragh MacAnthony has seemed rather pleased with himself over the deal in all his many soundbites over it. But without researching it, I'm not sure I've actually heard him mention the exact fee. It's certainly got a whiff of dog-shite about the whole thing.... [Post edited 21 Jan 2016 8:47]

But then MacAnthony would Shirley say that Newport will *potentially* be getting a 7-figure sum?

On another thread Nadera says Newport are due 500k up front and then the sell-on kicks in @ 20%. So it means Newport make 1m and Posh only 500k more than that. Seems odd to me, especially with Barry Fry handling negotiations at the time. Still, you'd need multiple doctorates to understand the inner workings of football.

That makes sense I just read that and thought that's steep and I couldn't work it out. However the way it's worded it does seem at though Newport have just received a seven figure sum from the sale now rather than the full sale of CW.

We haven't quoted a fee so club can't be accused of misleading anyone The 23 year-old has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road, after Rangers agreed an undisclosed fee with the League One club for the striker’s services Read more at http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/conor-washington-qpr-jimmy-floyd-hasselbaink-p

Romania, apparently. TicuÅŸu (German: Konradsdorf; Hungarian: Szásztyúkos) is a commune in BraÅŸov County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Cobor (Kiwern; Kóbor) and TicuÅŸu Vechi (the commune center). At the 2011 census, 65.7% of inhabitants were Romanians, 20.4% Roma and 12.6% Hungarians.
