I'm Hoping Snorky from the Banana Splits gets the job.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Hasselbaink would be an interesting choice. So would Laudrup.

Snorky's not a bad shout - not afraid to mix it up.

I'd like to see Fleegle interviewed at least - he could probably sniff out a few decent signings.

People saying Monk is one of the Managers of the year? Try avoiding relegation and getting to the FA Cup final with fukking Tom Cleverley!

I leave Villa with best win ratio of any of Villa's last 3 managers:

Lambert 24.8%
McLeish 18.4%

Laudrup please

There is a reason no club in Europe touched Laudrup after his Swansea stint or since.

Money...till....hand.... Just random words, I promise.

Never at training either...

There's only 1 man for the job.

You know it makes sense.

Definitely a coach.

Changing the DoF/ coach structure as well as simply changing the coach is even more upheaval and shoes even less planning and strategy. It'd would ditching the new approach after a few months. The whole point of a DoF/ coach structure is the DoF brings consistency of vision and strategies, even if the man implementing them at coaching level changes.

Changing that now would show be even more crass from TF and really would show we're entirely short term focused with no dedication to changing culture and ethos from the last few years. It'd be a real shame.

Thought you wanted Pearson? I'd call him a manager rather than coach. No?

Yeah, Les, TF and Ruben *might* not be too interested in old Malky.

Bare bones.

Head Coach. I think he could work under a DoF. Whether he wants to is a separate issue. It would be a pre-requisite of hiring him or anyone for me.

We need consistency at DoF level who is independent of the coach to prevent Redknapp esque signings and hold the coach to account for performing to the job brief. And for this you need a DoF who knows about football.

Oh, yeah, OK
