If that's the case it could put a few quid in the pot, it will be interesting to see how Hull City work out the financial figures bearing in mind entrance is incorporated in the Season Ticket.
I would imagine he means they automatically have to buy a ticket as part of the terms of buying a season ticket. If that is the case it's good news, hope.they don't reduce prices then
Cup games can go on to 22:30 as we saw on Tues. we knew we were away.
Far better a 'Hull' with a straight motorway between us than a Palace or Brentford.
The really big guns enter in the 3rd round....
I've not known that M62 to be a straight motorway for any midweek fixture in the past five years. Its been road closures and diversions all over the place. Hope that's all sorted now.

No, the previous poster stated cup games are incorporated into the Hull City Season Ticket.

I'd have (probably incorrectly) thought that given the pricing structure for cup games has to be agreed between the two clubs, things like this should be against FL rules, or otherwise, what's to stop us doing similar for home and away games?
I know the sums involved aren't going to allow us to buy Messi, but if the ticket is included within a season ticket, then it has a value. The ticket hasn't been given way free. it's been part of a season ticket for 23 League Games and a home League Cup game and as such no matter how small, we should be due to some recompense for that. I won't be holding my breath.
I really hope Dale dont object if Hull want to price tickets at £10 and £5. I noticed most of the clubs this week had this policy - especially Championship teams who were at home (Wolves,Bolton,Brentford definitely did).

Really didnt like the format of drawing us lot out first, that was a bit of a downer to begin with. And sorry but Hull away midweek isnt that appetising either. We have played these lot quite a few times in recent history. Would of been better Everton, Villa or Newcastle . Just got to try and get past them. I cant see them being as bad as they were against accy.

They've used the same format for about 30 years. It's just to save time.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Its still a bit shit, and why do they need to save time? Its a dedicated sports channel so they can take as long as they want. It just looks rubbish that half the draw has been made 'off camera'. It wouldnt be too difficult to draw the unseeded teams out alternating home and away - then draw out the seeded teams after. Would probably take 8 mins instead of 4 mins.

Agree, why not have two two pots at least and alternate the home & away teams

Oh aye, it's definitely a bit shit, but they've always done it that way so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Yes that's the other way they can do it. 2 pots, 1 seeded teams and 1 unseeded teams. Match 1 : draw out the unseeded team at home. Match 2 : draw out the seeded team at home. And so on and so forth. Its not rocket science.

The season ticket holders that bought season tickets before the end of last season are the one entitled to 3 free home cup games . A lot didn't renew until later due to not know what was going to happen with the name change even now quite a few of us don't do home game and won't return till the owner sells up .

With games against Blackpool and yourselves coming up, it just brings it home how stable and well-run our club is.
Good luck with getting rid of Allam, but bear in mind it might mean cutting your cloth accordingly, even if that means no return to the premiership.
I've followed city for 38 years and wouldn't be bothered if we never get back in the premier league . But when your owner says the fans that don't agree with me can" go and die when they want " and comes out with more lies. I think we have to make a stand

And rightly so - we'd be doing the same.
At least you're not ruining the fixture like the Blackpool pitch-invaders, and having away fans wasting their time and money; or just not going due to the threat of it.
