Just about to leave Colchester after a short term loan, where he played 6 games.
Still looks decent and is now looking for a club.
Would be worth a deal until the end of the season.

No good for us he's only 33.

Wait another 2-3 years then we might be in with a shout.

We will be reading soon, that like Peter Clarke, "he has unfinished business" too.

I thought Clarke had a great game on Sunday.

He played well for 88 minutes.

I always liked Kaspers as well and was sorry to see him go. He's probably as good as anything else we have in central defence at the moment.

Remember his glancing headed goal from a corner against the Clampetts in our 3-0 demolition of them first season back in the 2nd division? Glorious.

Stop it Hannibal you're not allowed to bring up the good times any more there a thing of the past and will never return under this present regime.

No good for us he will want paying so on that basis it rules him out.

Just to clarify, it was Darren O'Dea who let Benteke turn and shoot, not Clarke.

Would I be right in saying he scored double figure goals when he was with us? When was the last time we had a central defender who scored more than a handful of goals in a season?
