Haven't seen Dunne play but I'd say he needs some playing time and can't see him getting that with Joan and Dielna in that position.
Would sooner get a couple of Prem loans in and ship those four out (I'd probably include Davies as well). | |

Dunne needs playing time. Why not loan him out for a few months to div 1 or Div 2 side. He was supposed to be ok before he got the bad injury at Wycombe. |  | | |

I still think grant isn't a bad player. Played centre mid at Penrith and played some tremendously well weighted passes for the forwards. Reminded me of what wellens used to do. He can shoot too. Strangely not a left winger for me which is where he has mostly played.
Although he also should have been sent off for trying to kick a Penrith player in the face but I'll gloss over that :) | | | |

I think well all get a sense that Barkhuizen isn't quite good enough (a sort of Blinkhorn from the old days) - he didn't really even cut it at Hereford. Think it was a quick decision on both sides when he signed. | |

They loved him at Hereford and I think he was their top scorer - wasn't he 17 or 18 at the time? Needs a chance, but might find it difficult unless he does some remarkable things in training. | | | |

It was a quick decision by the club to activate the option; Barks had no say.
At Hereford he was the top score with a dozen or so in a team that got relegated, and the top scorer in the division on a shots to goals ratio (I think it was OneDaveBamber who said that).
I'd still have him ahead of some of the current squad and I think he's also our current longest serving player, which says it all. [Post edited 19 Aug 2014 22:14]

Your problem is where would some of these players go? Rochdale might take back Grant and Wycombe could have Dunne but I really can't see who else would be shopping around Bloomfield Road for one of our squad at the moment! | |
