In any case, I still think we should just be enjoying this team, this style of play, being back at the football after the pandemic, being a genuinely competitive threat in this league again, after so many drab years, rather than getting ourselves hung up on some play-off push we’ve convinced ourselves is a mandatory thing for this team this season because of the way last season ended and the recruitment done over the summer.
