So sorry for not contributing to the forum but I have been too busy pissing myself laughing at the wonderful start to the season the Dale have made. Like Hornets you have no money to spend in January, and shite players who no one will want to buy to bring in some income. Welcome to the club.
Well we have now had 26 pages on the Football Clubs Fans Forum re Hornets On Sunday. It's interesting that all these clever individuals who have delved into the hostile takeover (And a very good job they did) still have not identified why Hornets can only have 970 fans per home game. Come on guys. As that lady at Norwich City said "Let's be having you"
Nobody did. I just needed to point out the difference between the Rugby supporter and the Football supporter and who sets the prices. Previously someone had asked the question why beer was available sat watching the rugby.
I was under the impression that the Bars at the Crown Oil Arena were run by the football club and any income went to them. If that is so Hornets can hardly be held responsible for the prices charged on Sunday. To answer the comment re spectators being able to sit in the stand an consume alcohol its a simple answer. Rugby League fans know how to behave unlike some football fans. I could sit supporting Hornets sat next to an Oldham Rugby supporter with both of us enjoying a beer. The following day we would have to sit in separate stands if Rochdale AFC were playing Oldham. Oh and no alcohol sat watching the match. We might have our problems but at least know how to behave.
