Was at a fair few games when I questioned Ralph and some of his decisions (Spurs away being one case) however (I know I was seen by many on here as being deluded) personally I would have liked to have seen him backed with a bit more by the club. One thing’s for sure, I would take Ralph or Puel (who was also derided), over the current manager who seems to be adored by the plebs. [Post edited 27 Sep 14:56]

They need to adopt our approach and get a fanzone up and running for the OAP’s before the game…… |

Wasn’t gonna come straight out and say this as I didn’t want to antagonise the O/P any further, but just because the players might be unhappy in my mind speaks volumes. When Strachan came to the club does anyone think he came in with a view to ensuring the players were ‘happy’? No his first thoughts were to improve their fitness levels and had them out running in the depths of the New Forest in a bid to get them fit, and try to prevent us conceding late goals. One of the last things on his mind was keeping the players happy per se. Of course harmony with the players is vital, but not to the point of having favourites shoehorned in to the team (ok not the best case / argument as someone might quote Mr Telfer). As you said earlier, it’s a results business so what the O/P, myself, or others on a mong board say will have little impact on whether the club pull the trigger. [Post edited 24 Sep 8:21]

You ‘think’ you could ‘confidently’ say the players would be unhappy? (By the way, I happen to agree with you on this point though) [Post edited 24 Sep 7:21]

Unless it involves (or directly affects) Saints I don’t tend to watch other PL games. Re: arrogance and club’s thinking they have their own rule book, how many points do you think City will be docked???? |

Find it absolutely blöody nuts that the board are considering a replacement if I am honest (if they are). I make no bones, cannot stand our Manager or his insistence on playing the style he wants but I do totally respect his rigid / strict perseverance for what he sees as his philosophy. The bit that really irks is, why did these clowns give him a contract extension when it was absolutely not needed. Beggars belief. If he goes, c’est la vie but the Noddy’s won’t be happy as they seem to see something I don’t with this guy. [Post edited 23 Sep 12:27]

Whilst not overrun with Saints fans, Belgium & Blues serves proper booze in proper glasses. Who was at Heartbreakers if I may ask? Cracking little venue…. |
