What has been niggling me during this euphoria is who has been behind the recent cost cutting and imposing the wage structure which in some cases sees us paying lg1 wages or lower? Was it Coleman? Surely if Kaplan and Levian were selling out they wouldn't care?
the thing is Builthy we attracted a lot of new fans when we moved from the Vetch...remember our average gate back then. Robertos football and then the PL brougjt more slowly a lot of these new fans have drifted away....other long term fans are now older and do not attend. Before I retired i would often give the m8dweek evrning games a miss...cant be there tonight as im in foreign climes.... As was said its bonfire night too....Yes I agree the clyb couldndo more but Sky have a lot to answer for for the dwindling of crowds....especially night games some would prefer to sit in the warm comfort of their iwn home or diwn the pub .....
Interesting article about Gyorkeres in the MoS It talks of how the ball seemed to bounce off hin duebto his inability to be able to control it ir yhat hisnpaases always went to an oppenent,it even quotes an unamed team mate. So it seems there were questuins over his skills.....worth a read it is interesting.... Its nit the first time a gem has been missed ...we opted against a younger Jamie Vardy....we gave away Dean Suanders
