And who in a lot of cases have to rely on benefits and food banks - all because their employer does not pay them a wage they can survive upon let alone thrive upon.

Ever the socialist. You are a real oddity aren’t you - claim to be more Welsh than anyone and then playing the Tory “I’m all right Jack let the little b*ggers starve”. You should be ashamed of yourself as should anyone agreeing with this.

I know it’s not ideal but Pederaen and Naughton can play there if needed.

Innit. A big man who’s good in the air and we have at least two of the best crossers I’ve seen recently in Ronald and Tyson (probably the Korean Guy too but I’ll reserve judgement).

Play to your strengths Luke!!!

We’ve got a decent poacher in Cullen and a big target man in Kukreyavich. The manager has to be the bigger man and sit him down and clear the slate - to be a good manager you have to be able to utilise every player in your squad. I believe there’s a decent striker in there and with the service he will get from the wings could do some damage.

It’s all about him knuckling down and taking the chance of a fresh start the manager should be clever enough to give him. Leaving a guy rot on the bench when we’ve a thin squad isn’t smart management.

I have high hopes for Franco in that regard. Could be a Flynn Downes type but it’s more skill and aggression. I read his interview on the OS after the Vardar game and he was genuinely disappointed not to have won. That’s a mentality I haven’t seen from within the group for a long time and the perfect mindset that’s needed at a successful club. I hope he takes the division (and the team) by the scruff of the neck this season. Genuinely excited about him

That’s why we should really scour Europe and South America. Much better quality for the same money

Who will the swans sign as a centre forward?

I was there for that - they were as good as they were in the Grand where I saw the last. I would love to see the original lineup but didn’t Eric Stewart have a nasty car accident years ago that badly affected him? Not sure what Lol Crème is doing at the moment

He fell lucky with Southampton because of the very strong side they kept together then added some very good players. They should have been too 2 but threw points away . If some people think he’s the new Pep fine but 3 wins in 21 tells the truth about him.

Who will the swans sign as a centre forward?

The key reason why few proper strikers have scored prolifically for us is the snails pace we attack and that’s mostly down to one or two in midfield. With the new ball winning skilful Portuguese lad I’m sure our tempo will be much quicker giving the edge to our wingers to pepper the box with decent crosses for Kukreyavich to bury or Cullen to snap up some scraps.

Half a striker? You do know Colin Macdonald retired some years back………?

If Leeds had gone up I’m sure we would have got Piroe back on loan at the very least. Time to look abroad for a spare CB and Striker. A tall one to nod in the endless stream of crosses coming from Ronald, Eom, Ginelly and not forgetting the magnificent Tymon.

The bloke treated our club like an experimental plaything - Cooper did far better and I didn’t really like him that much either. Never forget 3 wins (all against 10 men) out of 21 - I actually hated the way we played under that grifter. He fell lucky with Southampton and nearly sodded that up

Trundle is and will always be a legend for me. His appetite for the game and his love for our club never diminishes. Can’t wait to hear him on the commentary again on Swans TV (same goes for Andy Robinson who is also a pleasure to listen to).
