Bugged the hell out me with R block singing his name and I think Ramsey also making him captain. Leading the team out at Everton away. This is who is representing QPR. Just because someone says something loud and confidently doesn’t mean theres any worth or credibility in it. A lot of it in the soccer/football world. [Post edited 24 Jan 21:40]

Bristol City away 1978 at half time. Anyone else remember that police horse. I can also still picture Stan’s leg dangling to this day. Horrible site. Our escorts back then we’re something out of scenes of captured soldiers being marched through previously occupied streets. Everything stopped, pubs emptied. To be fair police were very good at keeping the peace and sorting out the locals. Marches from the station at Leicester and Derby away for example. [Post edited 24 Jan 16:00]

Always fascinated me this topic. 19th Aug 1978 opening game of the season away at Liverpool. A hundred odd hardy soles, give or take, with a few carriages on a regular train and the allocation being on the back row of the main stand where the teams come out. Got smacked in the face as well for what it’s worth. Lime street station coppers wise words were you shouldn’t have come up here then. 8th May 1982 Barnsley away. Lost 3-0, fun day out singing you can watch us on the box. A few weeks later thousands at Wembley. Back then you knew most of the away crowd. Doug for example quite regularly being escorted around the pitch from the home end into the away end. I think it turned around in the first Holloway era. A bit of us and them mentality and rallying around. Selling out away ends now has become a lot more common and harder to get tickets. [Post edited 24 Jan 15:48]

Thought we got too cocky and over confident after the goals. We've all been around the game long enough knowing that isn’t a good look. Thought I might be the only one to notice it and didn’t want to bring it up especially because it was a game I enjoyed watching. We all want to enjoy watching our team which becomes optional when viewing from an armchair. Great performance well done to all especially those who attended. |

Thanks for reply’s. The vivid seats app allows you to see tickets available, also resale, so I’ll look into it on the day of the gig. Only me going so easier. Journey into DC is another matter! |

Not the biggest rock fan/gibsons/Marshalls etc however this lot are playing locally and I do like what they do. Have also seen the footage in Brazil and Spain and think to myself let’s experience this for myself. I thought they had retired. Anyone seen them recently and they are still knocking it out. Thanks. |

Personally I think Ange is a breath of fresh air In football especially in the antiseptic world of the PL. Spurs problems are far bigger then the managers. |

Just finished bad sisters 2, very good as always when something with Sharon Horgan is involved. Currently half way through Squid games 2. Mad, bonkers, fcucked up, breaking bad feelings of where on earth can this go next and it goes somewhere and you think I have to watch this during the day time. No bed time viewing or I won’t get to sleep. Great creative art all said and done. |

I don’t mind Match of the day. I think Lineker is funny and the analysis half decent. It’s just when they get some ex pros who just tell us verbatim what I’ve just seen rather then offer any insights etc. It is good how ever much contempt I have for the PL to see quality football, remember those days fellow r,s. Is Stainrod going to do a poll about any of this? |

Honorable mention winning 3-0 at white hart lane 75/76. Seeing my team play like that as a 13year old was the coolest and proudest thing. Not many Rangers fans at my school in North Harrow. Every other fing team plenty. |

First year back in Div 1 83/&4 Highbury winning 2-0. What a day in the sun. Had to endure my Arsenal mates and ex girlfriend’s nonsense for too long so good to shut them up. We really had sunk under the radar back then. Untill TV took over we were pretty shite and also averaging small crowds. |

Might be better to say you met somewhere and not on a dating app. I dunno. Immigration aren’t as suspicious regarding English people. Well they weren’t. The challenge is always immigration at the airports. Don’t know their own rules. I’ve only met one decent one who spoke to me normally and had no sign of a lobotomy. Know the rules better then them. |
