It absolutely is one of the biggest shocks in history. When do Rangers or Celtic ever lose at home to lower division teams in the cup? You will struggle to find any bigger cup shock (Rangers losing at home to Hamilton in the 80s, who were in the same division, is remembered as one) and its not like the occasional upsets in England where the prem teams send out their reserves. This was Rangers only real chance of a trophy this season so they were well up for it. There's a huge gulf between Rangers/Celtic and even the 3rd placed premiership team every year. Its a chasm to clubs like Queens Park who play in front of crowds the size of around what Wealdstone get in non league and have only been professional for about 5 years. |

Oh don't spoil the fun, everyone is meant to rage about Starmer who's been in charge for a few months and inherited an absolute shit show. |

It was a penalty because Rangers were losing, which is standard. They even sent it to VAR afterwards to see if there was any excuse for a retake. |

Fantastic stuff and utterly embarrassing for Sevco. They had won a couple of games recently so the chest beating about them being back and potentially chasing down Celtic's 13 (THIRTEEN) point lead in the league was getting louder. Not even pushing the emergency soft penalty button with seconds of added time remaining could save them. Most amusing of all, as someone pointed out on twitter, Tavernier actually sets off to celebrate after hitting the penalty Great performance by James Acaster in goal and hats off to Queens Park for a famous victory. |

A bigger factor than the points gap is the number of teams we would have to pass, along with our poor goal difference. Unlikely, but just looking up rather than down is quite pleasant. |

She's a bit up herself, not very bright and fortunate that she has a sporting talent. Some of her excuses are laughable. Not exactly crime of the century though is it? Plenty of lawyers, journos etc making a quid out of covering something that seems very minor and petty. Basically a pissed person being a bit gobby. She's hugely famous here due to being their best player by far (at least before the ACL anyway) but I'm not sure how well known she is in the UK despite playing there. [Post edited 7 Feb 23:08]

If we'd had even a remotely ok start to the season we'd be in a good place now. Great to see the progress now, I think we can officially declare relegation fears as over! |

In which case he'll make us a nice profit when Real Madrid come calling. Win win. |

I wouldn't write Postecoglu off yet, Spurs have been decimated by injuries for some time and yet the results are apparently all the manager's fault. |

I was one of the very few Rs in the away end that night. An intimidating atmosphere to say the least, not helped by our extremely defensive performance (back passing to the keeper was very much still allowed then) to grind out a 0-0. The mate I went with that night is a Forest fan so it wasn't even 100% QPR fans among that small away following. The home leg which we won 2-1 was extremely lively, during and after the game. |

Agree that replacement is becoming a more attractive option. There's a company here that deliver next day, connect the appliance and take the old one away. They also price match other outlets. Makes it difficult to justify repair time and costs. |

Another symptom of the internet is the death of originality and that includes football chants. The endless boring "allez, allez, allez" versions being a perfect example. |

100% social media a big problem. It means there is no escape and people are stirring up nastiness 24/7. Over the last decade or so online discourse has become very unpleasant and certain forces are deliberately stoking division in every aspect of society. Its one thing having banter, funny memes (which become less funny after endless copy/pasting) etc, but the personal stuff is just plain nasty and I assume mostly driven by individuals that are very unhappy with their own existence. |

So what we're essentially saying here is there will be no need for playoffs after all, autos it is. |
