It's a massive shame. I have always loved the FA Cup, with the magic of it shown at Home Park this afternoon. Sitting in a half empty, silent St Mary's yesterday was very depressing and it hurts doesn't it. Our club is a mess. With the owner telling us Juric is here to stay, gut feeling is that we could go.from bad to worse. I can't see us coming back up next season. [Post edited 9 Feb 23:42]

I have to say, I am not sure about this manager. I agree that it was strange not to start with a striker. Surely Tall Paul was perfect to start against a physical Burnley side. He reminds me slightly of Puel. He's a bit snappy, a bit irritating. However, he has taken over a poor team, a bunch of players low in confidence, a club in chaos, and players wanting to leave. As you know, I am also fed up of keep swapping managers when ultimately in my opinion, the problem is the owners. [Post edited 9 Feb 23:31]

I'm not overly convinced with Dibling. He didn't do much today and couldn't break down Burnley's defence. He has missed quite a few chances in the PL too and hasn't scored many if any goals? However, I sense he is p!ssed off, playing in such a terrible team. [Post edited 8 Feb 20:59]

It is definitely time to start protesting and get Sport Republic Out. 2 relegations in 3 seasons, with a succession of terrible managers, tells us they are jokers. I can't see us coming straight back up again next season, with such a terrible hangover from this dreadful season. |

Spot on. It's Sport Republic who keep appointing these duds! Whilst also bringing in terrible players, or not bringing in any at all.

Ofcourse it's always the manager's fault. When we are on manager number 25, we might see that it's the owners who need to go. Having said that if Juric says no no no in a scratchy voice again, I have a feeling Juric will start to get on people's nerves. But so will the next manager, because Sport Republic are terrible and don't make any good decisions at all, ever. [Post edited 8 Feb 17:33]

At least Armstrong tried hard. He scores today on loan, whilst we barely manage a shot. Nobody brought in to replace him. Wellington was useles today, just a cheap signing. This club is a joke.

Nothing ever changes. Ralph wanted a striker, they didn't get it done. A few years later, these owners still not supporting the manager of the day. They just won't pay what is required to tempt the best players.
We.just get stuck every time. Good players that we need won't come if they can get more elsewhere at more ambitious clubs. Juric already showing his frustrations. [Post edited 6 Feb 21:36]

Sport Republic won't, haven't and never will, increase their wage structure to become an ambitious PL club. Yes they have spent money, but only on players they think will make them a profit. We are going nowhere with this lot in charge. They are here to make money. They are not here to make a successful football club on the pitch. As long as the 18 year old we buy for 1.million gets sold for 6 million when he's 21 (Amu Amu for example) that's profit. Most people I'm sure have worked them out by now. |

We would all say no, I would imagine. However in 2006, West Ham won 8 out of their final 10 games, after being ten points adrift. Our local rivals also escaped after being many points adrift.
Hmm. At least we should beat Derby's record low points total. |
