He's not done much for us but this seems like strange timing when Field, Varane and now Chair are out injured, Morgan way off form / possibly worn out, Colback creaking, Andersen only just back but still slow, Madsen barely playing and Edwards possibly being moved to defensive midfield as he was Saturday. |

Yang really needs to stop trying to play out of and losing the ball in dangerous situations which could easily have cost us more goals. To give him some credit though I think he did set up the huge chance for Paal strangely missing from the extended lowlights, and the chance for Morgan wellied way over. He's useful when we do get forward. |

Morgan has been poor in his last games. Last night he was way off it, Boro players were running past him like he wasn't there, like for there 2nd goal. Really hope he doesn't need to play Saturday. |

Marti said in his post match that Lloyd has been carrying a groin problem and they doubted he was fit enough to play a full game. |

Thought we played a lot of good football at times especially 1st half. Similar to SU we looked the better team except importantly in and around both the penalty areas. |

As I saw it on QPR+ Saito was the quickest player to react to that opportunity, both ours and their defenders, he moved very quickly to get his head to it first but a defender blocked his header. Don't think we got the corner so maybe it wasn't blocked, but Saito did well just to get there. Our go to offensive player and MOM for me again. |

I don't know what that GK was doing kungfu kicking at head hight, got to be a red card by itself. That he caught Mateta high on his head so bad he needed oxygen and 25 stitches to put his ear back in place, made it about the worse tackle I remember seeing in football. He could of killed him. 6 months in jail would be more appropriate than missing 6 games he probably won't have played anyway and is nothing. If he'd done that away from a football he could have been put in the pinky. Hope he gets the message he's not supposed to kicking that high and putting lives at risk. |

No, it was just Sheffield United game. |

He was out sick for SU according to Marti. |

Watching on QPR+ I did appreciate our good attacking play creating so many goal scoring chances, but by the time we were into the 2nd half I had the depressing feeling that we had failed to take so many we weren't going to score at all. I was uplifted briefly by Frey's pen but again we didnt really create that much after that and couln't convert what we did. SU looked so much more effective in both penalty areas, scored from their only 2 shots on target so I read, and for all our good football it barely looked like we could scrape a point which we didn't. |

And additionally when Kolli has played in the 1st team he has been used as a striker so he is not being blocking by Yang playing RW.. |

Agreed. I thought he was our best player Saturday. |

It's this season! Still 11 games to play. Can still be relegated if we go on the run we started the season with, or more unlikely we could still reach the play-offs. And apparently we earn a bit more money the higher up the table we finish. Fox made a goal saving tackle at the death there too. Mid - May is the time to time to start prioritizing next season, not early March. |
 | Forum Reply | Yang next season ?? at 04:36 3 Mar 2025
I think Yang has done well going forward. He was at fault with others for the 1st goal but came close to scoring 4 times, and drew the save of the game from their Keeper low down to his left with his left footed shot through players. He's not as good as Smyth defensively but having both Yang and Smyth give us 2 good, quick and fresh options down that right side when the one who starts begins to tire. |

Imo we should play what Marti considers to be his best available team at least until we are mathematically safe in the Championship next season. With tough games coming up, 11 still to play and only 44 points, we are away off that still. |

I'd hook Morgan start of 2nd half and bring Saito on, moving Chair to 10. Morgan seems to lose the ball every time he gets it. |

Thanks for putting this spreadsheet on here Sam. I don't do X, and hadn't seen the actual results anywhere else before you put this on here. Surprised not to find them on the Official. |
