AYou would think that a contract has already been offered and negotiations are ongoing. Jimmy is a massive player for us in defence and attack, and we can all see how much he loves Playing here. Hopefully the money where offering is enough to get him to sign? |
| Forum Reply | If all fit and firing, who's first choice at CB? at 21:04 22 Jan 2025
Morrison was superb before his injury and a good part of our turnaround in form, him and Cook looked a great pairing, JCS is also quality, but very fragile, Edward’s isn’t ours, so when players are fir I expect him to drop out. Fox has been unbelievable since the Pompey game. A tough call for the manager |

He hasn’t reached anywhere near the form he’s showed in previous seasons, lots of very valid reasons for that. Personally I still don’t think he’s fully match fit? I’d still start him Saturday! |
| Forum Reply | Morgan Fox at 09:51 22 Jan 2025
He’s been astonishing since returning after the Portsmouth game. So versatile and a very good player to have, very vocal and organises players around him. Like the whole team, improved so much over the last few months? |

Yes!, Not a great performance first half, but improved with the first two subs. Lloyd always gives everything and puts himself about, Saito took his goal very well, so pleased for him, always plays with a smile on his face. Must also give a shout out to Morgan Fox, honestly thought he was finished after the pompey game, I don’t mind admitting I was so wrong. MOM for me last night? Great squad rotation from Marti again, would start Saito Saturday and giver Chair a rest! How nice is it looking down! Cmon U Rs |

We need to move the ball quickly and utilise Smyth, I think we will get a result 2-1, but I would be happy with a draw! |

It is indeed a very good read! As for all the Terry discussions, a lot is fuelled by what we see in the papers, he’s obviously had a few issues, that’s put him on the front pages! I met him once and he was a decent bloke, who took time to speak with every child and have photos taken at a children’s hospital. No press, not organised, something he did in his own time. He always loved Loftus Road, always a great atmosphere! |

Good result for us, should have been more comfortable, Edward’s, Frey and Field all had chances, very good chances! Thought Jimmy and Edward’s played well, Kolli took his goal very well, for me Grimshaw, was MoM today! Cmon U R’s |

Agreed, very different team than the one from earlier this season. Battled for the win last night and got our rewards, we would have fallen apart after the equaliser earlier this season! |
| Forum Reply | Predict the team for the cup game at 12:38 7 Jan 2025
Walsh Ashby, JCS, Edward’s, Paal Colback, Varane, EDB Saito, Lloyd, Chair Give JCS, Edward’s and Colback some much needed minutes, we have Hull, Plymouth and Wednesday coming up, not must win games, but don’t want Hull and Plymouth closing the gap. We’re going to need our squad fit for Feb and March when we have a tough run of games. |
| Forum Reply | Frey Goal at 12:30 7 Jan 2025
Officials were bloody awful all night, we are in BL and they missed at least 2 handballs by Luton defenders before the goal. Yes a slight touch but completely unintentional and given the previous missed handballs, they were never going to give it! |

A late one last night, but a well deserved win. We should have been 2 or 3 up at half time, two outstanding saves from the keeper and Jimmy managed to miss the rebound from 3 yards. Battled back and got the second, Alfie could have sealed it later on, but 2 was enough. Officials were absolutely awful and missed so much. Luton are one of the worst sides I’ve seen this season at LR, looking like us earlier this season. MoM Morgan for me with Dunne and Field also having great games, getting vertigo looking at the table now, 1 loss in 11, Cmon U Rs! |

I think a large number of us, had lost patience with him earlier this season! Unreal transformation, looks so dangerous every game now, we’re now seeing the player we wanted him to be! |
| Forum Reply | Kieran Morgan - Looks So Comfortable. at 22:08 1 Jan 2025
Very astute signing, looks a tremendous prospect, a midfield 3 with him slightly ahead of the other two definitely seems to get us higher up the pitch and quicker, also think Varane has some great passing ability, some great balls to Smyth from the pair of them today! |
| Forum Reply | Sorry Paal at 21:57 1 Jan 2025
I didn’t actually say he was bad today, but i do think we can do a lot better. And I travel down every home game, Season Tickets Bl and Paal plays directly in front of me most weeks, so I do have a good view of what he does, his performance today was better than most weeks, the whole team played well, on a points basis he’s a 6 to 6 1/2, that should be a decent average not a good game. The goal wasn’t his fault, we got exposed losing the ball high up the pitch, Paal, was left 1 on 1 with Baah, he could have closed Baah down quicker, instead of backing off, the result may well have been the same, we will Know? |
| Forum Reply | Sorry Paal at 17:51 1 Jan 2025
Sorry, but he is still a weak link for us. Both Chair and Saito helped him out massively today, he is so often out of position, far to close to Fox today for several of the Watford attacks leaving so much space for Baah to run at, also not closing players down before the cross comes in. A few people saying he’s the best LB we have, he is, but we do need to move him on and get someone in. |
| Forum Reply | Hoops vs Hornets Match Thread at 17:38 1 Jan 2025
Just back home, brilliant performance today from the whole team, as mentioned by many, difficult to pick MoM, for me Dunne just shaded it from Smyth. Great to see Frey start today, he showed us what we have missed for so much of the season, constantly harassing and bullying defenders, and took his goal really well. Also have to give a shout out to Varane, Morgan, Ashby, thought they all had great games today. Cmon U Rs |
| Forum Reply | How have things changed so drastically in last ten games at 17:24 1 Jan 2025
Slight change in tactics and new players getting up to the physicality and nature of the championship. The midfield three today gives us a solid formation and the opportunity to break forward quickly, also the form of Smyth is a real positive. |
