Need to get back to winning ways today......but no games are easy. We managed to mess up when we met Ebbsfleet in October.....winning 2-0 at HT we conceded twice (another long distance shot from half way keeper gone missing and a penalty) for 2-2 draw.

Do we know if the game is even on? No mention of a pitch inspection and the silence from the club is deafening. This is something that really grates me, as I have family who would like to come to games, but get no indication if it is worth travelling. I'm sure it is the same for many others.
If there is no pitch inspection and the game is definitely on, say so, don't just presume people know, especially after recent cockups. People just won't bother in future because of the lack of information. |  | | |

Any revised thoughts by those whose expectation was that Dale had the consistency to take on the top 4/5?
Games in hand count for nothing, never have done
Still expect us to make the playoffs, "make" being the operative word, but the evidence before our eyes on the pitch is we're just not ready for a push to the top

Playing a team as bad as them we had one shot on target which was a hit and hope from 20+ yards. They had equal chance to score than we did and we were completely out of ideas. | | | |

Woeful. Until we start showing some tactical flexibility with the formation mid-game there’s no doubt we will continue to make it easier for opponents
Why not take off a central defender? Go to three in midfield? Try a 4-4-2 as alluded to elsewhere? Something, anything to mix it up and make the opposition think.

Full time report from my mate who went is that we were shockingly bad but its down to the way our team is set up and the unacceptable way we play. Apparently, they had the best 2 chances of the game and really should have scored one of them.

McNulty feels like more of a coach than a manager - a manager would be more pragmatic and shake things up when required. Whilst the managers first priority is to try and not concede and keep possession, the final result kind of seems immaterial at times, while the chance or choice even to go more attack minded is plenty down the priority list | | | |

In order to be “sustainable” we need to get back in the EFL & games like today / Tuesday drive fans away..
Been out & about today, because I always wear the badge, being coat / training top, got into many conversations from people I know and strangers “are you going today”… nope .. you?.. not one person I spoke to said yes (about 10 people)… not just me who cares about our Club but can’t bear to watch how much lower we can slump & it’s not entertaining or great to watch.
One person said they can build houses on it for all I care after 30 years now after what they did to us programme sellers.. never again.
Put a drive through Costa Coffee in the Car Park for me as that’s the close I would go to the ground.
Do I say call for McNultys head.. No I like him as a person but it’s no good being a cannon without someone behind you giving you the ammunition. Let’s see if Mark Hughes (again a love him or leave him Manager at all levels) can turn Carlisle’s year around and avoid the drop…
Solar Panels on the roof… Great, I have seen elsewhere the tie ins on these kind of deals, would love to see that contract..
