Today is on Ainsworth… 21:39 - Apr 15 with 8820 views | HammersmithR | 1. Who plays 4-4-2 in 2023? Formation was completely wrong today. Coventry played a 3-4-1-2. We could easily have matched them today with Chair in the hole. But Ainsworth persists with a formation from 1986. You can see why no one has brought Ainsworth in after a decade at Wycombe. Football has moved on. He’s playing a non footballing centre half at right back. He offers nothing going forward. 2. Where on earth is Amos? He plays 70 mins on Monday and yet again he vanishes from the squad. Absolute joke. 3. We offer nothing going forward. We are so easy to play against. Dozzell ponces about like he’s a World Cup winner. He is so bad. He’s the kind of player you wonder how he’s made it as a pro. He doesn’t pass, he doesn’t tackle, he doesn’t shoot, he doesn’t score. I don’t know what he does. 4. We had the chance to bring in Warnock for the rest of the season who would have kept us up. But we have gone for a yes man for Les. We are an embarrassment.

you could also say that as ainsworth has been here a while now hes sussed out who will at least try to those who couldnt give a to$$ hence why west brom no loaness started and same again for coventry , dont think he trusts laird ricvhards roberts and add willock to that mix now one other point to raise is Dieng untouchable or is archer even worse in training than he is when starting ? iif evil les is involved in team selection is aonsowrth being told to keep him at first choice due to any possible transfer we might get from him in june , i think another keeper on his for would have been dropped months ago to be honest .

problem is not so much can he trust them more do they fit into the 4-4-2 hit the big man style he wants to play and they sadly don't. It'll be even worse when he gets to bring in his own players
Today is on Ainsworth… on 15:40 - Apr 17 with 1283 views | ThGrimRanger | just because TF said he'd found his perfect manager it doesn't mean he chose him. find it very hard to imagine that when Les was appointed as DoF in Feb 2015 that he was instructed by TF to appoint Chris Ramsey as manager lol

Why? TF, the Tune Group and the CEO are all the DOF boss so he would of done as he was told

because Ramsey is LF best mate and spurs colleague. no way in a million years this was just coincidence. Why would the board go to a manager who has never managed to save us from relegation and a huge fair play penalty. They went to LF who appointed Ramsey.

Because as others have said we won at Sunderland. Believe what you want regarding the DOF but if you think all our issues will be solved when he's gone then you will be very disappointed

Yeah proper silver bullet stuff that, incidentally Gary O'Neil is doing well at Bournemouth isn't he. Also your mate Tim Sherwood who Les definitely was going to appoint despite almost always being free any yet never actually getting the job, he got given the spurs job without having ever managed another club, what's going on there then? Or is that less strange because they're a top half premier league club? I've said it a thousand times, there's enough things to throw at Les without having to make stuff up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Today is on Ainsworth… on 13:28 - Apr 17 by golborne | Agreed, that was a remarkable comment from somebody who clearly doesn't watch the lad very often... |
Nonsense I'm afraid. Properly quick players such as Djibril Cisse and Wayne Routledge have proper pace. If you think Chair is in the same category as them, then you're the one not watching him. Others like Adel Taarabt, Eberechi Eze, and Chris Willock, have a turn of pace which is why they seemingly glide straight past players with total ease. If you think Chair has the same kind of pace as them then again, you are the one not watching him very often. He has neither outright pace or a turn of pace. I at no stage suggested he was slow and is clearly quicker than your average defender or central midfielder, but he is not a 'pacey' player.

there's nothing unusual in the premier league about a member of staff being appointed as caretaker manager after a manager is sacked. temporary manager does well and gets the gig as what happened in the case of Gary O'Neil. I'm struggling to think of another example in the premier league of a manager being appointed who has no connection to the club and has never managed.

Yeah, you can't class Chair as rapid. How many times have you seen him seemingly in on goal and then watched as he's checked back because he's worried he's about to be caught by the defender. Proper pacey players, such as Bright Samuel, when they get a head start on a defender, that's it, they're away with no stopping them. Chair is by no means slow, but wouldn't pick out pace as a big strength of his.

Ramsey was a member of our staff & was appointed as caretaker. After the win at Sunderland, Tony fell in love with him. Bryan Robson was appointed as player manager at Middlesbrough without any coaching/managerial experience. That's even more stupid than being appointed as the manager!

Today is on Ainsworth… on 20:46 - Apr 17 with 752 views | ArcticHoop | Who plays 4-4-2- in 2023? Atletico Madrid has play it for ages under Simeone and they are doing fine. Every season top-3 in Spain. Aston Villa use it after they appoint Emery. They were bottom 3 and now they are top-6. Not saying we have to use that formation, actually since october any formation hasn´t worked for us
