Yeah her vote went down in 83 but labours vote dropping 10%+ in key battlegrounds gave her an extra 60 seats. Very similar to 2015 and 2019 where the Tory vote remained static or only increased slightly but the labour vote was split by UKIP and the Brexit party. The notion that her win was due to an increase in patriotism and nationalism following the Falklands war isn’t supported by the data.

She gave many the greatest asset in their lives-their home-for peanuts. Unforgivable.
It was not for her to sell the family silver for a song, the housing stock belonged to the state and now there is a housing shortage, people that owned their own homes got nothing out of it, how unfair is that.

I will say once again, my views are based on the subject and research at university and not because I am from a Labour stronghold. My brother is from the same house as me and he votes for the Conservative party. His views are based on his adult experience.
