Don't agree with the first half but the second half was the best we've played at home for a long time, there was urgency and fight that has been missing all season. Hopefully we can take this momentum on to Tuesday!
Match thread: Shrewsbury H on 17:38 - Mar 30 with 3435 views | Daley_Lama | For any Shrews fans who feel aggrieved. If you were 2-1 up and the opposition team were gifted a joke of a penalty in the last minute and you drew 2-2, how would you feel? That’s exactly how we were feeling in an equally important, albeit opposite end of the table game. It was never in a month of sundays a penalty. You were not robbed. We would have been robbed. Match thread: Shrewsbury H on 17:44 - Mar 30 with 3359 views | 442Dale | Much better second half and for the first time in a long time we created opportunities and had concerted pressure at the Sandy Lane end. It needs pointing out again how this division really is much of a muchness and I’ve seen nothing from Rotherham, Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury that illustrates why they’re at the top and we are where we are in terms of squad quality. It’s best not to think about it too much though as it only annoys.

Match thread: Shrewsbury H on 17:50 - Mar 30 with 3261 views | Shun | Absolutely incredible finish! The shift between absolute devastation when that penalty was given (seriously, I felt sick) and the sheer euphoria of Henderson’s goal, brilliant! It was never a penalty anyway which made that finish all the sweeter. In the first half Shrewsbury were streets ahead of us, and I thought they looked better than both Wigan and Blackburn. I hope they go on to win the rest of their games now and go up automatically. Our second half performance was absolutely brilliant though and we were worthy winners. Well done to Hill, he saw Nthle was having a shocker at the back (although why play him in the first place) and so he acted to change that, changing formation in the process. That formation suited Camps a lot more and that’s the best he’s looked in ages. The same goes for Inman. Calvin was brilliant throughout, his hold-up play is second to none and he helps this team so much. Also a note for Davies, he’s now scored 3 of my favourite goals this season (along with Donny at home and Spurs at home). Goals in the 45+12th minute and 90+6th minute don’t come along every day. Crazy game. So much passion out there today.

Ollie's confidence returned and he showed what we've been missing from him with the all-important equaliser Fair play to the ref for consulting over his hasty decision - it's rare to see - but he got it right in the end. Great advert for L1 and we've got to take heart from this and make sure there's more to come next season!

I felt sick when the ref gave what looked like a very soft penalty, but seldom if ever have I seen our players so convinced that it was the wrong decision. It's very rare to see a ref change his mind, but on this occasion he eventually got it correct. Shrewsbury looked a handful in the first half, but we more than matched them after the break, and another fab goal from Davies plus the last gasp Hendo strike has given us renewed hope. Play like the first half, and we are still deep in trouble... play like the second half, and anything is possible. Up the Dale.

How were they an ugly team?

He was pointing to the spot before their diver had figured out what body part hurt. I know the linesman eventually helped him out of the hole, but the decision itself was scandalous. One of the worst I've ever seen.

it's largely about run of the ball - their shot grazes the bar and their pen is rescinded - before Jan we'd have lost 3 - 2; now it's not going against us.

Absolutely dreadful decision however a big well done to the linesman for getting the decision right. In fairness to the ref at least he consulted and then stuck with the lino’s judgement.
Match thread: Shrewsbury H on 18:44 - Mar 30 with 2579 views | RAFCBLUE | The best 2nd half performance this season. Hopefully, 12 more halves of positive football at home and opportunity. A real team performance today. Exceptional from every performance in the team and backroom staff.

I'm not even sure the lino would have said much other than 'I didn't see any foul' - the lino was also stood in the position for the penalty to be taken - the ref was in a much better position to give it and he really didn't give himself time to think he was pointing to the spot so quickly. Fair play to him for being weak enough to change his mind and to be fair to the Shrewsbury players - they didn't really protest much - certainly no where near the reaction of all the Dale players to the initial award. It was a very surreal moment.

I'd say strong enough to change his mind. It takes a bit of bottle to do that.
