It’s great news that the remits have been scrapped.
Whilst trade to EU countries did increase by 46% in February after the 40% slump in January, the actual monetary value for February was still £2bn down on the December EU trade figures and much lower than the November and October 2020 trade figures. The guy in the video is picking his facts to choose the narrative.
We need to keep driving and increasing our exports and cutting our reliance on imports.
Of course everyone does that. Blaming a trade slow down on brexit rather than the recession caused by the pandemic and lockdown.
I see the French fishermen have been up to their old tricks despite a generous allocation of fish from UK waters. The set up barricades and set fire to them in Boulogne to prevent lorries carry British fish from leaving the port. Meanwhile the French police as usual did nothing.
Once again it demonstrates the EU are not honouring the trade agreement.

Brexit is a disaster.
Correct brexit is a disaster for the corrupt undemocratic EU. Meanwhile the UK vaccination programme powers ahead while the EU lags behind as new cases and deaths soar and ever tighter restrictions are imposed. The European politicians are now waking up to this disaster.
Our economy has started to recover but the EU is "still on crutches" and that's not my opinion, it's Christine Lagarde.

I did not see any coverage by the BBC on a speech in the European Parliament.
An Italian MEP said EU chiefs should apologise for smearing Britain with disgusting lies over Brexit. He also said the UK had freed itself from Brussels swamps of regulations and bureaucracy.
He also said the EU could learn from the covoid vaccine rollout in the UK.
On the EU's plan to sue AstraZeneca he said he hoped the EU did not use the same lawyers who drafted the vaccine contracts.
He also said the EU leaders did not understand that UK preferred to exercise its sovereignty in a democratic way instead of delegating it to grey bureaucrats who have shown they cannot run a condominium.
